New-Brunswick has been hit by 2 important snowfalls during the week and some trails still had a thick cover of dense powder. Some other trails were mechanically worked to provide a perfect carving experience. I've been told CM is the largest ski resort in NB. Well, if I compare to ski centers I know in Quebec or Vermont, CM is a small mountain indeed. But despite the size, it is a good place to ski. Pros: - Interesting diversity of trail difficulty level, from easy to double diamond. - Some surprisingly challenging trail (try Harold's Fun Run). - The ski-après ambiance is great with a band playing inside the cool small chalet (see my pics). - Beautiful view of the region around from the top. - 40 $ for an adult day pass! Cons: - Only one chairlift available. - Short slopes. It takes about 8 to 10 mins to go up a chair and only 2 to get down. - Small chalet, cafeteria and bar. It can get really crowdy at lunchtime or for the après-ski. Overall, my experience here was just great. I won't travel all the way from Quebec to come ski here, but if you have to spend some time in the region and you're looking for a place to go down the slopes, CM is an interesting opportunity. I hesitated before according 4 starts review to CM. Usually, I give a 3 stars to ski center of that size. But my day at CM was so perfect that I decided to be generous. My recommendation for advanced skiers: try Harold's fun run.

I came here for a 1 night stay. Had a king suite. Beds were comfy jetted tub was an awesome bonus…read more Son said he slept like a champ 2 king beds was an awesome add. Called the front desk needed a but more time with some work stuff on thr computer. They said absolutely you can stay the extra hour. I was astounded by the gm calling me back to verify i was given the opportunity to extend past the 11am checkout. I have already prepared to stay again here the following Sunday as well.

Room was clean but hallway smelled badly of weed and cigarettes. Very noisy. Inadequate bathroom…read moreand safety. Poor snow plowing for disabled, narrow spaces. Smoking by staff at main entrance and butts on floor inside handicapped access. Menu in room not real menu for grill. Staff friendly and helpful working for poor facility.
