Our party sat on the patio in the incredibly beautiful Columbia Gorge evening. Dog- friendly, human-friendly staff served up a memorable meal for our stay in Stevenson. Great entree choices. It was quiet on patio and lively inside (on a weeknight). DO eat here.

We ordered dinner to go on a Saturday night. Service was sufficient, and the wait for our food to be ready was about 20 minutes. The wild sockeye salmon cakes were delightful, with a nice crunch and a tasty sauce on the side. The smoked salmon alfredo was so satisfying, creamy and flavorful and quite unique. My boyfriend enjoyed the smoky garlic shrimp, and even though it was a large serving size, he finished every last bite. We were hungry, no doubt, after a hike earlier in the day. But everything about our meal was impeccable, and we were very pleased with our experience.

Visited as a guest from American Cruise Lines. Convenient location, just a few blocks from docking. Per the pics, the quantity of the food was more than plenty. The burger was a two-hander and the bowl size of the tomato soup was enough to feed two. Food was hot and excellent taste/quality. Our water glasses were kept full and service was commendable. Highly recommend.

Took a nice drive out to Stevenson, WA on a sunny spring weekend Saturday! We stopped here to get a bite to eat and cocktail before checking out the Carson Hot Springs. We shared a spinach salad with a delicious garlic dressing and a bacon burger! The fries were so crispy and yummy Topped the meal off with a slice of their Smores Cheesecake! Our server was great and kept our cocktails full!

Refreshing lemon cocktail. Was very sweet.

The service was amazing, very friendly as soon as we walked in. The food tasted really good and was not too expensive. The grilled chicken Cesar salad was my favorite out of everything, the chicken tasted really good. The place had lots of cool posters on the wall to look at. If you sit in the outside, you get a nice view of the lake.

Great service, ambience, eclectic menu. Full bar, good beers on tap, fish out of the big river. Excellent staff

Moving up in the ranks. Had their Reuben. It's pretty legit. I get my dressing on the side. I'd recommend the same. It tastes weird. I guess it's traditional maybe. Anyway lots of good meat. Sauerkraut is good but not too cute. The bread is really tasty too and not soggy. Top five all time for me

This place is a destination spot. We live about one hours drive and we come here just for lunch. The smoked salmon fetuchini Alfredo is absolutely to die for. The salmon is nice and Smokey, perfectly cooked and just like you would like you salmon. The pasta was creamy and picked up all of the Smokey notes from the salmon. They other wonderful entrees but we can't seem to order anything but the salmon Alfredo. It that wasn't enough we decided to split the lemon cheese cake. This is a flavor of cheesecake we'd never had before. The cheesecake was creamy and bright with lemon flavors. Nothing tasted artificial. It was a perfect finish to a great meal

First of all, the drive into the town was gorgeous and scenic. What a restaurant with a view! Easy parking and plenty of seating on the inside. Second, the staff were incredible. From the moment we walked in, the young lady taking our order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our questions as non-locals. Another co-worker was helpful in helping us to get seated and bringing out food/drinks. Wonderful service, thank you! Third, the food was AMAZING! Everything we ate was fresh, hearty, and so flavorful. We shared a cup of clam chowder and it was so creamy and delicious. My husband got the fish and chips with the Cajun seasoning and it was so scrumptious! And very filling! I got the smoked salmon po'boy and it was so decadent. I loved every bite and walked away stuffed! And, on top of it all, prices were so reasonable for such fresh fish and ingredients! If we are ever in the area again, we are going to be sure to stop by Brigham Fish Market. It is worth every minute of the drive, every dollar, and every bite! Thanks for an amazing lunch!

This is their more upscale dining option there (elevated menu & on the pricey side), as they have a more casual lounge dining room on-site as well. This dining room is beautifully decorated, but it's your typical nice hotel style dining room that's large with high-ceilings, so it doesn't have an intimate or romantic feel. Not a problem, just mentioning it in case that's the vibe you wanted. The staff were friendly & helpful. Our food was delicious at the start when it was still hot/warm: the Hubs had their Lamb Ragu, and I had the Halibut. Portions were exactly enough for you to eat it all and feel just satisfied, but not stuffed, without any leftovers. I was hoping portions would be a little bit more, based on the price, but given the high cost of groceries these days, I understand. What wasn't so great? In a word: cold. Their dinner service starts at 5p and we arrived a few minutes after that time, so we were part of their first diners of the evening on a Saturday night. We ordered their small loaf of warm sourdough bread & butter to have with our meal. The bread was lukewarm, but the butter, which had been previously whipped & piped into a little ramekin ahead of time, was cold & hard, as it must have just came out of the fridge. The plates our entrees were served on were also cold, so halfway through our meals our food was completely cold. Even though their dinner service starts at 5p, I'm sure there's kitchen staff in there ahead of time that should get some of those little ramekins of butter out of the fridge ahead of time (or at least put under the warming lamp for a little bit before serving), and put some serving plates under the heat lamp or in a warming drawer. Perhaps they normally do this and on our night there someone forgot. Either way, it out a cold damper on what we hoped would be nice dinner out.

An epic Breakfast menu for foodies and standard fair breakfast/brunch lovers is new and ON at Clark & Lewie's - designed and prepared by Brandy's husband and chef Tony! A "first" review challenge for me: How to write in "groans and sighs." Because words just won't accurately communicate the sophisticated, savory flavors, texture and clear love of food like we experienced. Crepes. Yes crepes! They offer two varieties that I couldn't choose from, so they offered one of each! The first is bacon, cheese and egg, and the second with ham/cheese and raspberry jam? The first bite - oooooohhhh - the texture that hits your mouth says "do I have your FULL attention?". And the first auditory responses are moans, groans and a few unsavory expletives....for which you quickly apologize to your dining partner. And your eyes lock on your food and fork - and then partner - with some serious "affection." Holy crap! Then the biscuits and gravy...equally not your standard fair with ample extra creamy servings of love and satiation. We also had to try an extra side of their potatoes obrian which are also not you standard fair and clearly trying to hold its own as a lead entre vs side. Moist, savory and incredible dipped in the gravy:) And then the bloody Mary's! Please note in the pictures the massive thick piece of bacon, that they cook in the oven with cayanne and brown sugar! And ALL of this backed by a scenic Columbia riverside view with its sleepy, eerie and calming mountain peaks, clouds and shimmering light. I must again reference our (local) server Brandy, and her incredible multi-talented husband Tony- they are the heart behind your entire dining experience. Brandy's piercing blue eyes radiate her love of what she does and her life with her large family here in the gorge. Richness in every level that pleases all your senses and soul. Oh! And with a bag full of breakfast leftovers, we ordered a full serving of their famous beef and elk stroganoff to take home as well!:) We'll be back!

Definitely the standout of the table for me. Service was friendly and expedient, which I always appreciate in the morning when everyone is trying to get caffeinated and out the door. My companions ordered the protein bowl, which was a hearty mix of grains and grilled vegetables with your choice of tofu or egg. It leaned a little bland flavor-wise, but it did exactly what it needed to do: provided a filling, healthy base for a full day of activity in Hood River. We intentionally did not intervene immediately, as we are working on teaching her to communicate without reinforcing whining. During that short time, multiple guests began making comments toward us, including telling us to "do something" and calling us "the worst parents." The situation escalated when one woman followed us as we were leaving, recording us and yelling in our faces. What's most concerning is that the restaurant did not intervene in any meaningful way. Instead of addressing the guests who were harassing us, we were asked if we wanted to move tables. Our server was kind and tried to help, but the lack of management response in a situation that clearly crossed into harassment was unacceptable. I left feeling shaken and unsafe. I would not recommend this restaurant for families.
