Unfortunately, these folks don't stand behind the tires they sell. Unless you buy their dubious "Big O-brand tires", they will leave you high and dry and do not respect the OE warranty. They will refuse to help you, even if you have a completely valid and documented situation that is well within the manufacturer's warranty. If you need tires, choose a different shop that cares about the quality and support of the tires they sell. read more

Stopped on my way from Texas to Washington state. I had a long drive ahead of me and was worried about vibration on the steering wheel when breaking. They inspected the car quickly and let me know the pads were ok so the vibration was probably from the rotors. I decided to change them and that fixed the problem. Had been going to Spanish Fork big O for years. Replaced tires on several vehicles and WAS happy with them for simple work. Took my Jeep in for an emission check, needed to replace catalytic converter. OK, they replace the catalytic converter. Jeep comes back with the check engine light off, but with the emergency brake light, ABS light, traction control light, ems light ALL ON. These all came on during the way home from Big O, like two blocks away after leaving. They were closing so I bring it back the next day. Big O had the gall to say this had nothing to do with them, it probably happened on the (5 mile) ride home. And since it's the 'module' they couldn't do anything about it. Just flabbergasted at pinning the problem on me. Their diagnostic didn't show a module problem when I took the Jeep in, then shows it right after I pick the Jeep up. Got a scheduled appointment to bring a work truck in for a brake flush. After 2 hours of waiting they finally look at it and try to push me for a bunch of other work. I told them I just wanted to brake flush and they started talking to me like I was an idiot because I only had time to do the brake flush. Don't go here. Slow, incompetent and not worth it. I have been loyal to this place because of the previous owners. I no longer recommend this place. I have taken all three of my vehicles here for the past few years. They have a habit of calling me during an oil change to tell me something needs to be replaced or fixed. While this is normal and understandable, the problem is that they will quote me a total out the door price only to have it be higher when I actually check out. They'll say, "well, yeah. You always have to do an alignment with that service". Well why didn't you tell me when you quoted the OTD price??? After the second time this happened, I stopped going here. If I good give a zero I would. I took my bmw in for a simple fix the over torqued my lug and called me to tell me that it was over torqued and then proceeded to tell me that I have to pay 2 hours of labor since they had to fix the issue they made. Not only that they some how managed to destroy my wheels paint and destroyed it and still charged after they did all of this. Would not recommend this big o they don't handle your car with car and could car less if they make the mistake they will still charge you for their mistake. read more

We stopped in to have our tire replaced from a blowout the day before. We were driving through on our way to South Dakota. My husband mentioned an issue with our DEF system that we tried to get repaired at the nearby Ram dealer that morning, with no luck. Kent and Aiden told us they would be happy to check it out. After a quick diagnostic it showed a bad sensor and def pump. They brought the parts in from Orem, keeping us updated all along the way. There was a potential issue that they would not know about until the system was taken apart. This could have potentially set us back four days. They went out of their way checking on us and updating us, even offering to drive us to go shopping or eat. After 6 hours they were able to reassemble the system without any other issues. Had a flat tire and got towed to big o in nephi on a Saturday. My tires were only one year old so I asked them if they could give me a used tire or just buy one they told me know that they had to give me all four or they couldn't help me my only option was to Uber to a Rent-A-Car place or stay in Nephi till Monday morning, or get towed to Salt Lake City for an additional $500 ...they told me I had 6/32 of tread left which was over half of the tread but they still told me they had to sell me off four, or I could get my car towed someplace else which nothing else was open till Monday a quick $800 to replace tires that were only one year old!...definitely took advantage of me, because it was a weekend and I lived 50 miles away read more

took my car in for a rear maintenance seal leak.thats what i was told not by big o .but took it in for that in santaquin location. mat the manager there gave me a estimate. but when they got the car they said it was not that that it was a vvt problem .and just went ahead and did work on my car that they had no permission no call no text no nothing they should have called me .not do whatever they felt like .and thats not it the parr he put on he didnt put the gasket and he let me drive away with no oil pressure and a sensor they messed up knowing i had to go into salt lake then if thats not enough i take it to the spanish fork one he also let me drive away with no oil pressure. i didnt know that is bad and if thats not enough payson location did spark plugs to try to do something right now i have a timming brelt problem and they act like they dont know why .mat is a cheating theif for he said they changed my head gasket it looks like it was not touched the first estimate he gave me and what i paid for work they was not givin no permission to do was 100 dollar difference he wracked up that bill to almost the first estimate. i never never would have allowed big o to do the gaskets they claim they did they changed the vvt and charged me 1875.that part takes 20 minutes to change give or take and my car is still running so bad every thing is going bad with it now almost 2000 bucks i paid them to screw me over .and forget about the kent manager i dont know whos worse him or mat wont talk to me who owns the car but to my son that is shady .not to mention i cant get ahold of the owners abby or josh i really hope they see this because im tired of all these problems .only had mat made one call to me or text .my car would be fine cuz never would i let them do that kinda work to my car especially did not get permission i don't even want to put a star but have to and did if this helps anyone thinking about having them do work on your car stay away or you pay more for their mistakes it's sad to that the owners are not caring about their customers and leave bone heads like kent and mat to run their business read more

Had a really good experience here with the employees that helped me buy tires for the first time. The employees were super helpful and helped me find the perfect tires for my car. However, when I came back to pick up my car I saw an employee driving my car out from the garage to the parking lot smoking something in my car. I'm not sure if he was vaping, or smoking a cigarette, but I saw him exhale smoke in my car... And my car hasn't smelt very good since. It was such a shame because I had such a great experience buying the tires, but I am 100% not ok with someone smoking in my car. read more

I have been coming here for over 15 years! I never just expect to anyone to be the best price, so I always price check, and without fail they are always the best price... But at Big O "Best Price" doesn't mean "cheapest." You do not get what you pay for here, you get much, much more! They are ALWAYS professional, kind, and no matter who I talk to willing to help and jump at the chance to help out. In 15+ years I'm not going to say they have never made a mistake, no one is perfect, but any mistake they make no matter how big or small is promptly addressed and taken care of. I can count on 1 hand the amount of mistakes they have made in these long years, but none have been that big of deal and no matter what they make it right! Any time my wife needs help she can go in there and they treat her professionally, with respect and take care of anything she needs... Even if you need them to just check and fill your tires whether they put them in or not they will take care of you for free. I have nothing but good things to say. Any negative reviews you read are usually the self entitled ones who try and get everything for free and when they don't they act like little children having a temper tantrum and write lies because they are just bad selfish lazy people! Watch out for up-sell and unreasonably inflated prices on extra things you've suddenly got to have to make it work. I complained about the tactic and instead of looking for a solution they said: "We're in business to make money" and a litany of other excuses. Of course. That a business makes money isn't the issue. How the business makes money is the issue. Consider taking your business where customer satisfaction is a valued part of a reasonable exchange of goods/services. Literally took over two hours for an oil change. They said it would be done in 45 minutes to an hour max. I am not late for an appointment and had to ask twice before someone actually got back to me on how much longer it would take. I'm fine if it's going to take two hours but just tell me that so I can plan accordingly, very unprofessional. I was given a discount for the two and a half hours I had to wait but I would have much rather not had my night so far set back. I am writing this update because of my experience today. Apparently Mac from the Spanish Fork Big O stumbled across my review. Now, I have worked in customer service for 20 years and currently am the guy in the office that calls all of the upset clients to help them. I know the discomfort in calling someone complaining. Mac found this review online and could have shrugged it off but he looked me up and decided to call me and ask about my experience. I have to give him a boost just for taking the time to do this. On top of that, Mac let me go through the entire story in full detail and explain what about their service was such a disappointment to me. He never made excuses or argued with me. He let me tell the whole story and even asked questions to make sure he understood what had happened. I have NEVER had a service company take that much time to find out my concerns. Beyond that he could have just said "we're sorry. it won't happen again" which most companies do, but he went further. He again stated in short the specific concerns I had, he made sure he understood why I felt that was poor service. He asked what would have made me happier in each circumstance. When he was done he explained to me he was sorry and that he was glad to have found the review and glad I talked to him. He gave me some specific ideas of what he planned to do to correct this issue. He asked me to reach out to him in the future in the hopes that he could have another chance to prove their VIP service, which I told him I would consider though I have no specific needs today. The service rendered simply by reaching out to me was truly impressive. As such I am removing them from our "Banned List" and considering my self apprehensively optimistic about trying them again in the future. IF Mac really does what he said and works on their delivery of service I have no doubt my next experience will garner them a 4 or 5 star rating. Asked for my key and went to Springville Big O and they had me in and out in 15 minutes. I HATE it when businesses try to take advantage of me. Not a big fan. Today I went to Big O Tire to have my alignment looked at. They informed me that I needed my shims replaced and alignment redone. Quoted Price: $442. I immediately called two other tire businesses to ask them for quotes. One quoted: $268 and one quoted $224. At this point, I was not happy. I called Big O back and they informed me that the other companies must be quoting for a big screw thing. I said no, it was for full contact shims. So I went to another tire company. Out the door: $268 with alignment. Please be careful when you get your car looked at. Always call other companies for quotes. Yes, they are nice and will rotate your tires and look to see if there is a leak. Yes, they check alignment for free but their prices seem a bit high to me. read more

This is where I go when I need service for my family's cars. Mac is "My guy" behind the counter. I can walk in and throw him the keys, explain my trouble, with some extra things to check out on the side. When they check it out, I get a call explaining what is wrong, and what not to worry about. I also know to send my friends to see Mac and he won't let me down. I live in NSL now, but I will still drive to Spanish Fork for big problems. I have even had my cars towed there. An example of how not to run a business. I could name many times this location tried to pull one over on me or family and friends. I Will keep it short though. Bait and switch. While calling several places price shopping. On the phone. They are great and were the lowest for the tires I wanted. Get to the store and there is this fee. That fee. Store fee . Air fee. On and on. Fear up sale for unneeded parts. I take care of my truck and it is serviced regularly and I have a great mechanic. So imagine my surprise when I stopped in for 4 new tires and I get a quote for upper and lower ball joints. And shell bearings. The best part. They never lifted a tire. The never checked. I watched. They had the quote prepared before my truck got pulled into the bay area. I declined service and tires. When directly to my mechanic and he went through the front end a d found nothing that was close to needing replacement. I left there and when and have 1100 dollars to big o's competition. And it felt great. The final time I will ever go there. A friend of ours has a new camaro. And she hit something that put u big bulge in the rear sidewall. She bought them at big o. Had 1 year road hazzard. They were 6 months old and had 4k miles on them. This is not a primary daily drive car. So the tires were basically new. She pulls in and they tell her she must replace all 4 tires because changing 1 is dangerous. She about did it. But called me to see if that sounded right. I said no. Leave. 2010 camaro. Has two different tire sizes. Front and back. If you have to replace 1. And that tire is not made anymore. Yes Those 2 should be replaced. But there is not ever a need to replace 4 if the other 3 are new. This is exactly what they told me when I took the car to another big o. And what I knew. The SF big o also told her a bulge from hitting something is not covered under the road hazard plan... that is the whole plan right?? The other big o. Replaced it under the plan for no cost and apologized for the SF location. Read here and ask around. read more

They are taking advantage of people (me) who don't know a lot about cars. I came it for a simple oil change and it turned out they stripped my oil pan plug and blamed it on the last place I took it. It took 45 minutes for them to call and say they won't even do the oil change and the person who was helping me walked out right as I came back to pick up my car so I couldn't even ask about what happened. read more

My mother and I stopped there on the way out of town for an extended trip. The tires on her RV were bad and the whole cab was shaking. Big O worked quickly because it was closing time and got us on the road with 2 brand new tires. Less than 200 miles later (in the middle of the desert near goblin state park), we had a tire blow out. My mother and I and with the help of some passers by, changed the tire on the side of the road and limped back to hanksville. The service guy there told us the old valve stem was used on the new tires and it blew off. Thankfully it was an easy/cheap fix. But the risk we were put in was unsettling. How hard was it to put a new valve stem on after we paid $250 for two new tires? We won't go back. read more

Deceptive business! Will lie to sell something don't need! Was in a hurry but needed tire balanced. When they pulled off, said tire old and cracked. I said impossible because all tires new at same time with plenty of tread. Charged $40 to put different used one on (also not balanced). I spent $40 and tire worse than when drove in. This place is the worst tire place I have ever been to. I was in a pinch for time to get a lawnmower tire tube put in to finish my work before it rained. I asked how long it would be and they said it would be an hour. I had some errands to run so it took about two hours of errands and no call yet. I went back in and they said they haven't even ordered the tube. They said it would be a half an hour until the tube could come in. Where did another hour and a half and went back in and they said they hadn't even started. I told them I wanted my tire back and I was going somewhere else. They went to get the tire and they came back and said " just finishing it up". Waited another 20 minutes in the waiting room and it finally was done. Then they charged me full price and refused to give a discounted rate. Never coming back! read more

Been here a few time and they're great! They work fast, do a good job, and actually know what they're talking about. Everyone here is friendly and attentive they take their time to make sure every customer is well informed on their options and what the mechanics will/are doing. While your work is being done they have a nice waiting area with comfy seats and snacks. They won't do work on your vehicle without letting you know. Also they're not just a tire shop(which I had primarily thought), they do nearly everything you could possibly need on your vehicle, and all the mechanics are trained and certified.
