Big Music... It's Big... Yeah they sell everything... Guitars, electric and acoustic, They sell drums and ukuleles. They sell strings and percussion and have a small recording tech area where they stock the usual suspects.. mics and software etc... Big Music is cool... but it's not that cool... It's not boutique.. It's not high end... They do sell Gretch though... mmm white falcon.... I get the idea that there main business is up stairs where they have EXTENSIVE teaching facilities. Lots of rooms to learn what ever you want.. prices are reasonable .. I guess... and they also have a not too bad recording studio down stairs out the back with a Toft ATB 24 channel console and a few iso rooms.. ( with low ceilings ) to record in.... Newly built and I've heard good things about it from a few songwriters. My vote is this.. They're local and I can get stuff there... hopefully... But if I want something High end... It's not my first pick.. but I'll drop by to check it out... P.S they have a great guitar tech who actually cares about the guitars he fixes read more

As a music store Big Music has a decent range, but not the cheapest prices. I've been attending guitar lessons for 6 mints now and the quality of the coaches is excellent! The rest of the staff are fantastic, always happy to help and they make a great effort to be accommodating. If you can already play, there are production studios and performance spaces available to rent. They'll even organize a band for you to jam with if you like. Highly recommend for learning to play! read more

Wow what GREAT service I bought a brand new guitar form a guitar store the day before and the strings broke but big music save me with great service of restringing the guitar with in 30 minutes awesome to talk to awesome to speak to very nice guitar maintenance people I would highly recommend big music for service and quality and friendliness you guys rock \m/ read more

I love a good bookshop and the Constant Reader ticks all the boxes. From the interesting window…read moredisplays, that are worth looking at when walking pass with a gelato on an evening stroll, to the walls of enticing recent releases in the front of the shop, to a fairly extensive collection in the back, including a good children's section. I've always found something to buy, whether for myself or as a gift. There's even some fancy wrapping paper and cards (although I usually skip in favour of the discount shops). Don't expect to find discounted stock (such as the % off sales as David Jones), but a good quality local book shop. Don't also miss looking for the quirky books at the counter, such as adult versions of children books and interesting gift type books. It's hard to not buy something extra!

Terrible book shop, really rude and unhelpful staff and take forever to get copies of books in I've…read moreordered in the past. Wont be giving them anymore business . Total unprofessionals.
