    Wow wow wow! I see that Kevin responded dishonestly to our initial review. Kevin never did anything for us for free. He tried to leave our belongings behind and not complete the job. We moved 2 hrs away but Kevin is lying and saying 3 for some odd reason. He made sure to mention Laurinburg so we can all calculate from Winston it's 2 hours. Just more proof that he is dishonest. He seems to keep mentioning us purchasing a new car (see photos in initial review) What does this have to do with anything at all? We noticed they kept making comments about us having money. Almost like they were scoping the place out. Turns out they were because they indeed stole money from us. Who has 80 to 90 pictures?? We certainly don't. I'm not sure why he added this lie to his response. It's just not true. And who would tell someone it's ok if you break our things? Obvously Kevin is very dishonest. Just wow! The only truth here is we did retract the payment because he lied about having insurance and refused to cover any damages (See the other one star review on him also refusing to cover their damages) Also we did pay him the money owed but still did not have any damages done by Kevin or the stolen money replaced. Kevin is flat out lying about anyone threatning him. We dont even curse and never spoke an unkind word to him or his friends. Again, see the posted text messages in the previous review. He filtered his cursing on here but he did not hold back when texting us threats and profanities. We have proof of Kevins rage and don't mind posting all of them with timestamps and dates with all of our replies included since he wants to flat out lie. We treated all of them with kindness and respect even after they destroyed our things. We just assumed he had insurance so there was no need to be upset. His 40 plus reviews are his friends and family and that's why they are not recommended by yelp. What a scammer. He messaged me asking to pay us to take down the review. I will post that message below. It's just unbelievable. He also had someone contact us to try to convince us to take down the review. We've contacted the Better Business Bereau so people can be aware of this scammer. We also see that he said that he filed with his insurance and replaced our damaged belongings. Well, what insurance?? WE WILL NOW FILE A LAWSUIT BECAUSE OF THIS CLAIM. So now you'll have to live up to that claim Kevin. So bring your paperwork from your "insurance" and prove to the judge that you replaced anything of ours. They damaged A LOT! It's just so upsetting on so many levels. The audacity to get up here and play the victim. Only thing worse than a thief is a liar! Again, don't let these guys into your homes. It'll be a big mistake that will cost you more time and money than you agree to.

    Big Kev did an excellent job communicating with me to coordinate this last-minute move of our very heavy armoire into our house. Big Kev and Brandon were courteous throughout the moving process and were able to successfully get the unit in place.

They were reasonably priced and due to their quick response I selected to use them. They contacted me twice during the week of the move to make sure that my move was still scheduled and to review next steps with how the move would be facilitated. The two young men, Holden and Antwan, called when they were on their way and provided an estimated time of arrival. After they parked the truck in front the house and conducted a walk thru to ensure they knew which pieces to move, they verified the service price to ensure I was in agreement. They wrapped the door way to prevent damage when moving the furniture. Holden and Antwan meticulously disassembled the beds, loaded the truck, moved the furniture into the new location and reassembled it. They both were very careful handling my belongings, courteous, and professional. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the gentlemen who serviced my move, but a policy that was not fully explained. When I booked the move, I was informed of a 3% discount if you wrote a check or used cash. However, it must be a Greensboro address on the check. This makes no sense since they are a moving company especially if the check is with a national bank. They need to fully explain the limitations of the discount when offering it as an option. Overall, I would recommend Little Guy Movers and would use them again. Just bring cash if you want the discount for not using a card.

After the movers had left my new apartment I found that ALL of my personal papers, which had been carefully boxed, was missing. All of my bank records, insurance, credit cards, personal correspondence from the last 50 years (I'm 84), photo albums ... ALL of it missing. Almost needless to say, this action by this moving service has been devastating not only to my life but to my loved ones who have also been so badly hurt both emotionally and financially. I will have more details to add as soon as I've recovered emotionally enough to form a credible sentence.

    After many moves throughout my career, I feel qualified to provide an honest review of a moving…read morecompany. During 7 years in the United States Air Force, I relocated to four different assignments. Later, while working for the Federal Aviation Administration, I completed six additional cross-country reassignments. Most of these moves involved professional movers such as United Van Lines, American Van Lines, Allied, and Two Men and a Truck. We also handled a few moves ourselves when we were younger. Most recently, we moved from Clemmons to King, NC after purchasing a new home. Wanting to support a local business, we chose Amplify Movers and Logistics LLC. Instead of conducting an in-home estimate, the owner requested that I send photos of the items to be moved. The quote came in nearly $1,000 less than another company we considered. In hindsight, that should have been a warning sign. Prior to moving day, communication was excellent and we felt confident in our decision. Unfortunately, the actual move was a very different experience. Before the move, we had already sold two large bulky items, yet the quoted price remained unchanged, which we accepted without issue. On moving day, four movers and a 28' U-Haul truck arrived around 8:00 AM. Marlene arrived about an hour later to briefly oversee the operation before leaving. By noon, both we and the lead mover realized the truck was far too small. The truck was already packed to the wheel wells and they had not even started loading the bedroom furniture. Several calls were made to Marlene. The crew attempted to unload and repack the truck multiple times without success. Eventually, Marlene asked what items we could transport ourselves, which would have required several trips using our SUV. Frustrated and wanting to keep things moving, I personally rented a second U-Haul truck. I informed Marlene of our plan, but despite her business also renting U-Haul trucks, she offered no assistance or compensation for the additional expense caused by the poor estimate. As a result, I incurred an extra $130 for the truck rental plus approximately $50 in fuel costs entirely due to improper planning. When I returned with the second truck, the crew was still loading the first one. Eventually both trucks were completely filled and we headed to King. During unloading, we were informed that our office desk had been broken. This desk had previously survived multiple professional moves, including cross-country transport and upstairs delivery, without being dismantled. My wife specifically advised the movers that it could be carried in one piece, but they chose to disassemble it anyway and broke several components in the process. Marlene's solution was to reduce the bill by $50. Considering the replacement cost of the desk was approximately $275 plus assembly time, this felt insulting rather than helpful. Once unloading was complete around 6:00 PM, we began noticing additional damage: scraped furniture, a broken bed support, a cracked bookshelf, and stained mattresses. Some furniture was wrapped only in plastic wrap instead of moving blankets, and the mattresses were dragged across the ground without protective mattress covers. To be clear, the movers themselves were courteous, respectful, and worked very hard throughout the day. We tipped them well because the issues were clearly the result of poor planning and management rather than lack of effort from the crew. What surprised me most was receiving a follow-up call from Marlene asking for a 5-star Google review. I explained that would not be possible given the damages, added expenses, and overall experience. If your primary concern is finding the cheapest possible mover, Amplify Movers may meet your needs. However, if you value professionalism, accurate estimating, proper equipment planning, and careful handling of your belongings, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
