Would not even give them a star horrible at communicating can not get them on the phone! Had my driveway done in October 2025 the shorted us in width and it is not even thick! Here we are in February and it is cracking ! read more

Big John's completed an asphalt driveway for us a few months ago. We were so pleased with their work we asked them back to rework to old paver turnarounds. The 20year old pavers had to be dug washed and sorted for the reinstall. There were several sizes colors and profiles. The pattern was pretty much planned on the fly .Brandon Graves and his crew came through and did a wonderful job. We couldn't be more pleased. Wish we had more projects for them. Recommend them highly! read more

They paved a long driveway for me at my Lakehouse in Pell City and did a great job and price was reasonable. They were prompt in paving it and removed a very large bush in the middle of a turnaround near the house and paved over it. The edges are sloped with no drop off and the transition from the driveway to the street pavement is smooth and level. Was very pleased with his work read more

This company was supposed to do some parking lot repairs. John received a deposit and I never saw him or my money again. He gave one excuse after another as to when he was going to start work. That was in August 2018 and he still hasn't even started job or called back. read more

Example I was charged $600 for a 1.5 hour repair to a water line and on a previous service call I was charged over $400 total for a wax ring replacement on a toilet and a new supply line(which was billed at $119) and only took an hour to complete. Once again service is 2 thumbs up but pricing not so much I always leave feeling a little gouged!

John's plumbing came to my home due to water leak, they came on a Saturday water was coming up from…read morethe floor they cut two holes in bathroom showed me a camera phone that had a picture of a screw and said that's where the problem was they said they could fix it however not that day because Saturday was foe emergency only I said this is one they said no and charged me four hundred and forty dollars, they came back on Monday late of course, was there for about thirty minutes and cut a hole in the living room, said they had to go to the parts house and would be right back, one hour later back with a spray sprayed that twice charged me another five hundred and twenty dollars nine hundred and sixty dollars for a leak, by Tuesday was still leaking called on time plumbing not only were they on time, long story short the leak was actually in the downstairs closet and had flooring the living room hallway and bathroom from a busted water pipe on time did fix the problem but charged me less than John's did in one visit had to make an insurance claim due to the damage from John's A lot of stress and mess if John's would have done there dry also there was never a screw in the bathroom drain shame on you John's for taking advantage on a senior citizen total from John's nine hundred and sixty dollars for nothing thanks for nothing John

We talked through the issue and he set a time to come out. The plumber did not come. I called and he explained that several plumbers did not show up for work, which suppressed availability (no call to let me know). We set up another appointment and again he did not show. This engagement caused me 5 additional days of water damage, due to the initial call being on a Friday and we waited through the weekend. That's horrible business.
