Heavy work table somehow got wet in the pod and rotted. When it was delivered it split apart. It was rendered useless.

The best I can say is that they showed up on moving day as scheduled. They also worked out keeping my items in storage until I closed on my new home. That's where the good comments end. Facts: 1. I asked for a Fri. delivery date but the scheduler chose Sun. instead and tried to blame me saying, "I thought you said that date." It was too late to change. 2. Then I was blamed for not being home when the delivery came on Sat. instead of the scheduled Sun. 3. A major piece of furniture was broken and instead of an apology or "don't worry, we'll help you on the claim" I was asked how it happened as though it was my fault. 4. Many of my boxes marked with big red fragile stickers and "Please load on top" or "Top load only" were rough-handled. I saw them loaded in every which way and when delivered sometimes they were the bottom of a stack of heavy book boxes. 5. The worst, though, is their failure to respond. I wrote several emails and texts trying to get someone to call me to work out the claim on the destroyed table. Finally, a very snotty lady called and after listening to her explain things that didn't need explaining I tried to get a word in to let her know what the upset was about. She rudely cut me off and refused to let me ask a question or speak. I am not used to receiving phone calls where the person simply shouts at me as I try to explain what's going on. She complained about the number of "very long emails" I'd written. Well, yes, they are long. They contain a lot of information. In the end, after yammering on right through anything I tried to say or ask she hung up on me. She considered it a threat when in my email I explained that I wanted to give a good review but their failure to respond was pushing me toward this review. She laughed and said, "We don't care if you give us a bad review." That pretty much sums up their attitude about customer service. The customer is allowed to be quiet and listen when they finally decide to respond. The customer's concerns don't matter, her possessions don't matter, damages don't matter. Basically, you don't matter.

It was 100 degrees outside! But we'd paid for the shipper to bring in, set up and sign off and had no helpers available for days to come. After 2 days with no shipper response and wimpy store help, I called LC's Two Men and a Truck. They squeezed in early the next morning. Estaban, Ulises, and supervisor Legend were on time, prepared. They did a swift lift inside, assembly and placement. No dings on sofa or doorway. Professional and kind people! 575-249- 2533 https://twomenandatruck.com/movers/nm/las-cruces

After agreeing on covering the wall and floor for a period of 1 year he asked me if I would be willing to retract my initial review. I said no that I believed my evaluation was accurate and truthful and people should be able to use to make judgements. Following that, the written document I received did not include potential damage to the wall or floor. After complaining the next document included the floor but not the wall. I complained and was told the wall would not be included and the regional manager wouldn't speak to me. From start to finish the experience has been terrible. They didn't follow up on anything they told me up front and obviously they management isn't trust worthy. Does this sound like a company you should trust.

A few months back we moved from our house in Las Cruces, NM to Dallas Tx. For this move we chose…read morean Allied Moving Van company called The Moving Company. This is our story: The Moving Company charged us over FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS to move our things. We were offered a supplemental insurance policy from the moving company itself, but the policy was so expensive we thought we'd never recoup the cost, even if they broke lots of things. We were WRONG. The list of items broken and destroyed is too long to list , but these are a few of the things that were broken and/or destroyed. An outdoor dining table---the movers actually told us that this happened when they decided that rather than carry the table the length of the van, they just SHOVED it to the exit, and snapped one of the legs off in the process; a handmade outdoor fountain with sculptured metal bamboo shoots mounted on a concrete base had the bamboo pieces broken completely off the base; a very heavy stone angel had one of the wings broken off; a Storyteller sculpture had several of the children broken off; a glass lamp was completely shattered--nothing left but the lampshade; a large metal accent piece with many arms was completely misshapen; a Lladro porcelain figurine had a large piece broken completely off; many, many serving pieces were broken and destroyed, along with crystal stemware with the stem snapped off. These are just a FEW of our ruined items. So you can see that these were not just small dishes and serving pieces. These were large, substantial pieces of art and furniture. We honestly began to feel that this had to be almost deliberate. There were things snapped off and broken off, and not as a result of a slight shift in packing. Not even things that we had pointed out as being valuable and important were packed in bubble wrap or Styrofoam, and certainly had no crating around them. We could understand a few broken pieces, but this was RIDICULOUS. In a subsequent call to the Moving Company, we were told that since our experience, things have changed. This company knows they are in the wrong. Moving is hard, even when it goes well. When you have thousands of dollars of damage done to your items, it becomes very personal. We were never offered an apology other than "we're sorry you're upset." In fact, in one reply to us, it was mentioned that we were just upset because we didn't take the extra insurance and so we were upset that we didn't get lots of money. We wonder, IF we had paid for more insurance, would they then have been more careful? If you have a choice, don't choose this company. I know they have had good reviews in the past, so we're just not sure what happened to us. But it could also happen to you.
