Stumbled upon this restaurant tonight while at Point Bornova. My wife and I have been looking for good vegetarian and vegan options in Izmir, but have only been able to find mezes at fish and other meat restaurants. Big Chef has a number of good options, including an excellent vegan burger that is very similar to the impossible burger brand in the U.S. They also have a great selection of drinks, including some creative non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is chill with indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was good, too. Definitely making this a regular stop when we're in the area. Bonus, they are also supporting local women farmers. Would love to see more organic ingredients in their food in the future. That would definitely be the cherry on top of this gem. read more
