She has excellent communication skills as well not only keeping us well informed, but in her communications with the buying client, closing attorney and lender on the buying side which is very important to me. The most important out of all her amazing attributes is her friendliness. You will not have a friendlier agent that you can talk with and work with to get everything that you need achieved. I highly recommend her if you need an agent to assist you through the process of buying or selling a home!!

To start, I normally wouldn't write a bad review, especially about a small business, but since you…read moreare handing your homes over to this company it is warranted. I am a homeowner in Big Canoe and Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia managed my vacation rental for 4 months. The current owners of Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia are not the original owners and have only been doing this for a short amount of time, which shows. It is a couple. She is friendly, but he is short-tempered, condescending, and bossy. I am a 50 something, female executive and bought and renovated my home on my own. He speaks to me as if I am a stupid housewife. As an executive I am not used to being spoken to in this manner and can't believe anyone does so anymore. I travel internationally for work and they told me that they were a full-service management company and would take care of everything which they did not do. These are the main issues that I had with them: 1. I had so much damage to my home and didn't make nearly enough money to cover the damage. I sent them several emails about damage to furniture that they didn't acknowledge. Their daily rate was much lower than the other company that I had used before so it no longer made sense to rent my home. I've never had damage to one of my vacation rentals other than normal wear and tear and this was really disappointing. #2. They told me that they were a full-service management company, yet they refused to clean the screened porch and deck for guests. This is my second vacation rental that I have owned and third management company in 12 1/2 years and this was a new one for me. I told them that I would scrub down the decks and furniture after the pollen in the Spring and after the leaves in the Fall and they would need to blow off debris/dirt and wipe down a few outdoor tables in between guests. They would send me pictures of a dirty outside coffee table and tell me it needed to be cleaned. And guests complained about the dirty table. They would send me messages that the screened porch was dirty and not clean it. I live several hours away, when not traveling, and my home was rented just about every weekend so I would go for months at a time without going there. I have no idea why they refused to blow off the decks and wipe down the furniture and just send me pictures of them. It was a complete disconnect. #3 Their priority seems to be the renters and not the homeowners. It feels as if they are chasing good reviews and not properly managing guests. They sent me a "honey-do" list of items that needed to be "fixed" based on a guest's feedback. They were the silliest items. Someone didn't like the finish on my kitchen countertops (it was a concrete application), she "didn't like" the showerhead (it works just fine) and she "didn't like" the height of the towel bar in the master bedroom (it was at the normal height and I went to my home to find it yanked out of the wall). This was for one woman who rented the home for 2 days. Lol. To send me a list of items to change was another complete disconnect. It's my home and to ask me to change the silliest things based on one person's feedback doesn't make any sense. They don't seem to understand how to manage guests' unreasonable expectations. The kicker was this woman "demanded" to be moved to another home. Not only did I lose this rental income since no one else could book the home that weekend, but Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia charged me for her $165 cleaning fee!!! With all of their inappropriate requests and low nightly rates it's just not worth handing your home over to them.

The rental team was flexible on my rental request ( i changed it a time or two), and helpful during my stay, when I needed my pass updated. Two other couples staying at other locations chose our 4 bedroom Chestnut Knoll home as their "go to" location, instead of their own. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and besides the food and friends, we needed nothing. Mountain Home took care of it all. Towels, kitchen supplies, comfortable outdoor space. These guys do it right, and will do you right too!

If you need reasons, read on. He carefully listens to your needs and will look at 100 Plus houses - even days before closing if that is what you need. We did look at 100 houses. We looked at houses on Brandon's birthday and even on Christmas Eve. Brandon is careful to steer you away from pots buys and when you do find the right home will negotiate until it falls within your budget. The home he found for us (thank you Google maps for sending us to the wrong address) was not one we picked out as it was $50,000 over budget was so wonderful that it became the benchmark by which we judged all other homes. After looking at over 100 homes all across NE Georgia and nearly busting his transmission on a giant rock, he put in an offer on this amazing home that we could afford. And he got it! Amazing negotiator! After we purchased, he stayed with us through contractors (a nightmare) and helped us get projects completed and made sure we got moved in. He continues to be a close friend to both of us. As another note, he is the only other person I have met who works as hard as I do and he will answer texts at 3am if you send them at 3am. Best realtor ever. I could only aspire to do my job half as well as he does his.
