Just Spent a horrible weekend at this place for a wedding.
Upon arrival - Waiver signatures for everything in the place. And I understand why. The stairs/railings going to the second floor of the Cowboy's Inn are suffering from dry rot. Lean hard against them and you could be in for a tumble.
In the bathroom - a sign from the ministry of health declaring all water used at BBGR "MUST" be boiled. Query to staff - "Oh, water is safe to drink, we just haven't taken the signs down" btw - water tastes bad and smells.
No alcohol, soda, snacks available - NOTHING but horrible tasting coffee, tea, and lemonade.
Temp went down to 5 degree C that night and my friends room had NO HEAT.
At a BBQ that evening - they ran out of food. The hamburger I got was "RAW"
Most of the staff are ill mannered, ill trained for taking care of guests. Only got one smile and that was the morning we left - Quickly!!! read more
