When I was visiting, there was a guy playing vinyls (not mixing at all though) really experimental tunes that kept heads turning. Everyone is friendly and perpetually in a good mood. Must be something in the leather and spikes. Or maybe the hair dye. Or maybe the great prices on shots of liquor. Apparently, women can pay their drinks by giving their brasseries to the barkeepers. Not classy for me. There was a Descendents song in there but most of it was what would show up on your Spotify "punk" playlist. Then they played some Rocket from the Crypt. Ok, I'm starting to buy back into this place. If the next song is good I will stay and have one more beer... Once I heard the opening chords of "Give it Away," by the Red Hot Chili Peppers I left.
