Despite its German name and its Bavarian decoration, this is a genuinely Polish place. They serve mostly the wonderful, hearty, old-fashioned Polish food - with bits from Russia, Hungary and Germany. Generous portions are served - no need for a starter; check out the tables around you. Beer lovers will find this a paradise: A wide range of home-brewed beers (Pilsen, Lager, Dark, Wheat) are on offer, most of them unpasteurised and unfiltered - a revelation of varieties of tastes! Moreover, if you're lucky, the brewing process might just be going on; then you can see it all happening inside the building. Great experience! We wanted to start our pub-crawl here but got stuck with the food and the good variety of beer. Highly recommended indeed!
