We originally decided to check out Coyote Adventures and the bicycle shop next-door but unfortunately they don't rent mountain bikes, so we set out from there to find an alternative and could not have made a better decision by coming over to Pedro Martinez's shop! We were immediately greeted by a very warm and welcoming Theresa - I hope I spelled her name correctly - while Pedro hosted a tour over the weekend. However, she was very patient with us, allowing us to test ride several bikes before deciding which bike we would take. In addition, as other reviews have noted, they also provide you with additional items to make sure your day of biking is fun and productive. That includes a pump, replacement tubes, and the tools needed to make a quick flat tire repair. They also provide you with a bike lock, but also warn you that if you do lock the bike up and leave it outside for any period of time it will likely be stolen. We also got recommendations on where to ride and headed out to El Tule the next day where we did approximately 13 1/2 miles. We had no issues with the bike, despite riding over multiple surfaces including some pretty rough streets. We will definitely be coming back again and signing up for one of the full weekend tours in the future.
