This cave, located in a cute village not too far from Lyon, is worth a visit. Follow the path (that…read morecan be a little tricky) and you'll see an underground lake, stalactites and stalagmites, amphitheater of rimstone dams and a painting that i'll let you guys discover. Don't omit to read the little explanation boards along the way. I would recommend to wear appropriate shoes.

This cave is definitely worth a detour if you are in the Lyon area in France. cool formations as…read morewell as nice narrow passages make this cave fun for children. don't miss the painting of Francois 1st on his horse painted by a relatively famous French painter who couldn't afford his hotel bill! However do not eat at the nearby cafe which I thought was a complete rip off.
