I'm probably very biased, because I do not enjoy working in libraries in the first place, but I…read morereally only could spend 30 minutes in that place before having the urge to leave.
If you enjoy working in libraries, this review is probably not for you, but if like me you have an aversion for them, here goes...
Firstly, you must leave your bag in a locker, because you can only come in with a transparent plastic bag. I'm sorry, but book thieves are usually resourceful and not having a bag is not going to stop them. Anyway, I can live with that.
But then, you cannot even have a bottle of water with you...again, it makes sense for the preservation of books, but how are you supposed to work for hours without hydrating? Going back to your locker every time you want to have a sip is just a complete hassle.
Then, and what really did it for me, is the impossibility to get the wifi working. Come on people, this is not the 1990's anymore.
On the plus side, the place is really massive, has large quiet study rooms and is super well located and easy to reach. The subscription is just €10 for students and €20 for everyone else for a year. I think it must be a good place for students in exams to really get focused, but it's not really my cup of tea.
