Bought this Biba bag it at the airport in barcelona the store name is not on the receipt, I believe they operate under globostore who are unreachable. BIBA said it has nothing to do with them. the bag is unusabe after 3 days as all the dye has rubbed off. the airport won't help either. read more

Had a really hard time finding this place; was told near Picasso Museum, behind church of Santa Maria etc. Finally got directions and walked into this lovely leather store. I came for two reasons: 1. I really wanted to buy a good leather bag from Spain for work. 2. Spain is the place for leather So I did my research and really liked their Slang Collection which I viewed on their website. I was greeted upon entering and proceeded to the back of the store to view it. There are several lovely pieces for men and women. I tried numerous leather crossbody, found too heavy. The Slang really laid right on my frame. The colors for fall are beautiful: deep burgundy, stone, khaki and black. I purchased the crossbody I saw online plus a nice wallet. Total cost @75 euros. They do sell luggage, scarves and other accessories. I was also given a VAT form to get tax refund on my way back to NY. I was happy when I found fantastic Spanish-made shoes at El Corte Inglés...but that's a department store you'll find spread across Europe. Fortunately, in Born, fashion coexists with bars and fantastic dining in an exquisite synergy. As fashion goes, Biba is like those regular, favorite spots you have...places you frequent because you always revel in the delights they offer. Stylish fashion and accessories for women, with a decent selection for men and a few nice things for home. In addition to the reasonably priced Biba bags that are so "del moda," they carry local lines like Slang, as well as a few far flung ones, including Argentina's La Martina. And the service is fantastic. Mariana, Mariana, Mariana! Go see her. She gave us the greatest service. What a sweetheart. The lighting and furniture at Biba were obviously arranged by a decorator with a great eye for detail. My wife and I found the Biba Verdi shop on our Bacelona trip, our first experience with this company. We saw a bag that we loved and the associates were both extremely helpful and friendly. We decided to continue looking at other shops but told the gal working there that we would be back. We returned the next day to find the bag that we liked no longer in the display window. The gal that helped us was there and remembered us - she had put the bag aside in case we came back! My wife was thrilled and so happy. Neither of us spoke Spanish but the help did - and they were outstanding! Needless to say we bought the bag, as well as another piece, as we wanted to do business with such wonderful people and such great products. I am very glad I stumbled across this store while visiting Barcelona. Though stumbling isn't the right word when they have ~30 stores in the Spain. The leather is super soft... I couldn't help touching the material on each bag as I walked around the store. As well, the bags are reasonably priced which justified my 3 purchases.... read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Found theses purses in Barcelona and loved them. Ordered several on line to ship to the US. They were shipped and I was very happy with the order until I received a bill for duty that was $200. That is almost what I paid for the order. The invoice submitted was 4 Times what I had paid. After Biba refused to correct the error I was forced to pay the excessive duty or be sent to a collection agency. Biba said they didn't send corrected invoices, I was responsible for the charge, etc. they were clearly at fault and did nothing to address the situation. As it is an import the consumer is at their mercy. Do not order! read more
