Public Clarification…read more The response from Echo Legal Services attempts to characterize this matter as a simple "unpaid invoice" dispute. That is not an accurate reflection of my concerns. My concerns extend far beyond any alleged account balance and relate to the conduct that occurred during and after the professional relationship. I have raised concerns regarding: * The handling of a client with documented disabilities. * The decision to pursue legal action despite ongoing human rights concerns. * Statements and conduct that I believe were inappropriate and unprofessional. * Confidentiality and professional boundary concerns that I have formally reported. These concerns have not been raised casually. They have been brought before the appropriate authorities through: * Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario * Law Society of Ontario complaint process Echo Legal Services is entitled to deny my allegations, just as I am entitled to pursue legal and regulatory remedies available to me. This is not about avoiding responsibility. It is about seeking accountability and ensuring that concerns regarding the treatment of persons with disabilities and professional conduct are properly examined by the appropriate bodies. I will allow the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Law Society of Ontario to determine the merits of the issues I have raised. Transparency matters. Accountability matters.
