The interior is outfitted with fairy lights and, as you wander through, admiring local wares and watching the chocolate makers at work, it's hard not to be transported to a magical chocolatey world. The sweet smell of chocolate and aniseed permeates throughout the entire hulking factory calling you to purchase it's delicious concoctions like a sweet sirens song. And that's just the start of the fun. The chocolate and liquorice themselves, though pricey as you would expect from gourmet artisan creators, are YUM! And I would know because, a day after my visit, I've eaten about a kilo of it . A sweet bargain us to purchase the $15 bag of not quite right sweets. We bought two and indulged in a delicious assortment of ugly. Definitely worth a fun if journeying with kids or (like myself) kids at heart.

There is nice out door seating and as soon as you walk in the doors, you get smacked in the face by the smell of liquorice (such a nice smell it was). The staff were very welcoming and allowed us to check out the museum they had, where you actually got to see the liquorice making process. There were taste testing samples and of course, you cannot leave without taking some home for yourself. A very pleasant visit and can't wait to go back one day!
