Edit, you are an absolute liar. Answers from google review. All pictures taken was after the job was complete. For transparancy to future customers. This was never just a basic paint job. As for the quote, I was given a quote in Sept 2024, you had roughly 4 MONTHS TO REVIEW it and let me know it was misquoted. It was only on the day the work began, the PM Shane asked about the ceiling. He made me show him the quote and then after speaking with you said you would honor it. The other quote I received was a few hundred dollars off. I guess no one knows how to quote a job properly. 99% of this job had no issues. The drywall repairs and taping were part of my quote, besides the ceiling, I do not know what was so extensive about this job. The truth is the team you sent were unqualified to perform the work. 2. A total fallacy on your part, I asked you one time if you were going to finish the job and you never responded. Only when I mentioned a review did you become defensive and accuse me of threatening you. I never once mentioned legal action. EVER. 3. Your communtication is horrendous at best, No one ever suggested I go thru managment or anyone else. I contacted you from the multiple numbers your company contacted me from because it was difficult to get a response before, during, and after the job. If this is all it takes to create confusion, theres a deeper issue here. 4. Your crews had to come back twice to fix and finish their work. This was after being stood up twice. The first time no call, no show. I had to contact the office to let them know that no one called or showed up. The 2nd time you called me 15 min prior to the time you were suppose to be there, telling me you just saw the appt on your calandar. (right). When you offered to come after dinner you were having with your family it would have been another hour and a half. My time is just as important as yours and I had already been stood up. The third time you showed up with the manager and a worker, you both left, leaving me alone with a worker that doesnt speak English. And he didnt finish the work you pointed out would be finished. 5. My claim about a broken window mullion and the items being trashed are not unfounded. Multiple "individuals" besides your crew being on site is an outright lie. The only other person who was there was my boyfriend. He is the one that took the mullion out of the window and handed it to me. I pointed it out to your worker that day stating it was to be painted and put back into the window. You constantly calling me a liar is disrespectful and unprofessional. 6. There were no poor lighting conditions, lights were in place. You continually make excuses and do not take any accountability. As far as signing off on the job. You went to the job site while I was working and YOU signed off on the job. After inspecting what you said was good. It was obvious it was not good. I contacted you within the week to let you know it was not resolved. You never voluntarily did anything, at all. You immediately did nothing. 7. Again, no one reached out, I called the office to let them know I was stood up. 8. The tape that was already coming off was again within that week. It is in the bedroom and there has never been water damage. the problem was it was never replaced in the first place. This house has no structural issues. Throughout this process all I have gotten is excuse after excuse for anything I brought to your attention, or any concerns raised. You lack customer service skills, professionalism, and you definately did not go above and beyond your contractural obligation because my house remains unfinished. The only challenges you and your team faced was accepting a job that is beyond your scope of work. Finally, many items on my quote were never completed much less attempted. no one sanded the door frames. no one sanded all the trim. no one checked for drips and inconsistancies. no one painted a 2nd coat. no one completed taping and repairs as needed. Your contract states you offer a 1 year warranty on all projects, I guess that is a lie too. I was going to have you paint my main house, but that's a hard NO. Moving forward blaiming the customer for everything is not going to help you in the long run. This will now be posted to other media outlets and the BBB. If you consider an honest review a threat, theres good reason. Good luck. (((( BUYER BEWARE ))))

I'm updating my review from 5 stars to 3 and here's why. At the initial review, not all work was completed, but I was pleased with what had been done so far. They had painted my front door, but not done a good job. They promised to redo it, so I felt comfortable giving a good review. Better Painting forgot about me, and I had to call several times to get the door taken care of. There was one day that I had to cancel last minute because I was ill, but there were also two times that we expected someone and nobody showed up. The second time, I called and the painter came out later, but why should I need to call? When the door was finished, it looked better but not great. The painter told me part of the problem was the paint--that it was a gloss paint and it needed to be a matte paint. I told him that it was his company that bought the paint. Thanks for that. Also, Owner Andrew had personally promised me while standing in my house promised to make some repairs to make me happy. This was after many calls not being returned. Finally, I had my husband call. Andrew told him that the repairs weren't covered under warranty. Yes, but Andrew had given his promise to me, plus we had spent A LOT of money with him so I felt like he could work with us. They also didn't do a good job of protecting some things from paint, as I later discovered. My bedroom ceiling fan is completely splattered on one side with ceiling paint, the bathtub has little splatters all over, and there were other places I had to clean up. In hindsight, I would not recommend them.
