The old one was kind, completely understanding. But the new one, had never cared about students or their mental health, i had a friend, who was problematic because of her mental health, yet they didn't try helping her. And because of her mental health issues and trama, she had done things i wish she hadn't done with me and my friends, so we started getting in trouble, yet the principal DIDNT HELP ANY OF US. When we registered with the district, we were in a zone located directly in the middle of two schools. At first thought, we believed the bigger school was the best option for our child. We were pleasantly wrong. Parkview staff has been excellent. I'd like to thank the principal, Ms Valdivia, and teacher Ms. Stanek. You both are amazing. Our family is forever appreciative for you. The front office, the nurse, the teachers, everyone is amazing. Thank you for all you do. This school has a small town feel. Every staff knows every student. I obtained an IEP for my child for speech and decided paradise hills elementary is the best choice for placement. I had finally got through the enrollment process and received a email notifying me of his start date. I arrived to the school on the day he was supposed to start & was sent back home due the incompetence of the special education teacher Ms. Angelina who failed to give me a call to prepare for his first day and confirm weather or not any additional documentation was needed. The following day I received a phone call from her and she stated she was out on his start date due to being sick which is understandable. I asked her why she couldn't give me a call before his start date and her excuse was also that she wasn't feeling well. I asked her to take accountability for the lack of preparation she had for his start date and she refused stating she had other things to do. Without a doubt i was not going to leave my child who is 3 years old to someone who can't do their job correctly and can't even acknowledge her mistakes. I was looking forward in ending the year with some type of schooling for my son as he is so eager to step foot into a school setting unfortunately due to this experience I now have worry's for my child entering school. It's sad and discouraging that schools treat parents and students like this when all we look for is someone who is going to provide our child with a safe and good learning environment for our children but can't do their job correctly. Especially when you hold the title of being a special education teacher. This was my experience and I hope moving forward things change but I will not put my child in the hands of ms Angelina. And I hope this brings awareness to any one seeking to enroll their child to preschool program.

Mrs Ashley in first grade, and Mrs Kohl, in second grade, worked closely with our oldest daughter for the past two years. I can't say enough about these amazing teachers. They have fostered a love of learning in our child, and she is now reading and writing, and doing math far above grade level, compared to her friends that are in public schools. My family loves Victory Christian Academy and I can't see my kids attending any other school. The Principal, teachers and families are all top notch and together they have created a very special school. I recently attended my grandson's 8th grade graduation from Calvary Christian Academy.  What a…read moregreat ceremony with less than 40 students graduating, it went by quickly.  We are so used to sitting on some hot bleachers for two hours before they call your kid's name off the list at other schools. This was in a very nice air conditioned, newly remodeled auditorium. He is my second grandchild to graduate from this school, we still have one more to go and a handful of nieces & nephews who also attend. So overall we have been coming here to school performances and Holiday shows since my eldest grandson started here in 2011. He is now in High School at Mater Dei. I was a bit reticent when they started going to this school because I would have preferred them to attend a Catholic private school. Because we are Catholic. But as usual time has proven me wrong. The wonderful academic excellence and innovation, that this school provides has showed me that, the right choice was made. I see how happy and well rounded my grandkids have become. They are into sports, music; one plays the cello incredibly well. It seems that this school places a high priority on individual achievements, probably due to the 13:1 student teacher ratio. All of this with the added benefit of providing a moral education along with the academic one. The school is very well maintained, and the staff is incredible. Grandparents are treated as special guests; we even have a special day when the kids perform just for us. So, in my humble opinion this is one of, if not the finest private pre-school to 8th grade school in Chula Vista. I am a fan and I guess always have been. These teachers pray for their students, they take the time to make sure things are prepared for their students. And the director and assistant director or wonderful. This is a wonderful, safe and healthy environment for any preschool family from any form of background. One thing I loved about this school when I first started working there was even if you don't believe or aren't a Christian, this school will still accept you. And that to me, shows their true hearts.
