Not only do they have a caring staff and beautiful facility- the doctors there have consistently taken great care of my pet. And yes, my dog has multiple medical issues which were diagnosed quickly and accurately. My pet has had surgeries by Dr. Pope ( neuter, recurring bladder stones due to breed, teeth cleaning, lesion removal, etc) and he has always done an excellent job explaining the procedure and post operative expectations. The anesthesia and surgical outcome have also been excellent with the problem resolved. I was out of town recently and my dog got so sick the veterinarian there diagnosed him with cancer ( after spending thousands of dollars on xrays, lab tests, ultrasound, etc). I did not put him down and immediately brought him back to Viewmont animal hospital. When Dr Pope saw him he recommended trying to treat the symptoms to see if he would respond. Happily, my dog is better than ever for an old pup- Dr. Pope reviewed all of the testing from the other veterinarian and explained that while there were ultrasound findings that could suggest cancer- it could also be incidental age related changes in the presence of gastroenteritis. I am so glad Dr. Pope treated my dog and not just the tests. I will continue to trust Viewmont animal hospital with the care of my fur baby and any future pets I may have.

Everything was inconclusive. They are more concerned about getting paid than taking care of the animal. To add insult to injury, when I went to check out the computers were down. They give a discount if you don't use a credit card. I wrote them a check and was told that was the same as a credit card. Since when? Who walks around with over $500 cash in their pocket. I was told that they would call me to check up on him and never heard from them. I took him to the ER vet and within 30 minutes they knew exactly what was going on. They were able to get blood and urine from him. I called SRAH to talk to the office manager and was told she would call me the next day. I still have not heard from them. They just don't seem to care. I have referred at least 5 others to them. I have told all of those people never to go back. So not only have they lost me as a client but they lost them as well. I hope this review saves more pet lives for others. I did need to put my cat down after all.

I would give zero stars if I could…read more We arrived at approximately 8:20 p.m. with our cat for an emergency visit and sat there for OVER FOUR HOURS without ever being seen by a veterinarian. During that time, we were repeatedly told that we were "next" and would be seen shortly. At almost 1:00 a.m., after sitting there all night with our cat confined to a carrier and our son with us, I finally asked again how much longer it would be. Once again, we were told we were next. Then, after I complained about how long we had been waiting and the complete lack of communication, the triage nurse came out and suddenly told us there were actually around FOUR patients still ahead of us. The communication was absolutely unacceptable. The triage nurse had some of the worst bedside manner and people skills I have ever experienced in an emergency veterinary setting. There was no compassion whatsoever. No one came to check on our cat. No one updated us. No one bothered to tell us whether she appeared stable, whether her condition was considered critical, or whether we should be concerned about waiting that long. We were simply left sitting there for hours as though we didn't exist. When I raised concerns, instead of showing even the slightest amount of empathy, the response was essentially that it wasn't her fault, there was nothing she could do, and she would let the receptionist's supervisor know that he had communicated poorly. That was it. To make the whole experience even more unbelievable, at one point the receptionist LOCKED THE DOOR, announced that he was going to step away for a while, and told the people sitting in the waiting room that if someone came to the door, we could let them in "if we wanted to or not." At an emergency animal hospital. I understand completely that emergency hospitals triage patients based on severity and that more critical animals need to be seen first. That was never the problem. The problem was being repeatedly told we were next, receiving conflicting information, getting absolutely no updates about our animal, and being treated with an astonishing lack of compassion while sitting there for more than four hours. If someone had simply said, "Your cat appears stable, but we have several critical emergencies ahead of you and the wait may be many more hours," I could have made an informed decision about what to do. Instead, we were strung along all night. We ultimately left without our cat ever being examined. I noticed afterward that this facility has extremely poor Yelp ratings, and after this experience, I understand why. An emergency veterinary hospital is dealing with frightened people who are worried about animals they love. Basic communication, professionalism, and compassion should not be too much to expect. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, and I would never willingly bring an animal here again
