It was Sunday so options were limited and, I HAD to replace the tire. All SEEMED well when I left, there was a bit of a shimmy but, it was my first road trip in this vehicle so I didn't think much of it. Made it to Atlanta and parked the car for the two weeks I was there. I had a rental for work and parked next to my truck every night. On the way back, the truck started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway thinking I had a flat. Nothing. Checked the suspension, all looked fine. Tried to go a little bit and the truck just shook. I had it towed to Pep Boys. As the mechanic was pulling it into the garage, another guy came running out, waving his arms, yelling. My wheel, the one THIS WALMART replaced, was ready to fall off. It had two sheared lug posts and the remaining lugs were very ready to go. The wheel had been improperly seated by WALMART I had to pay for the repair AND a hotel for the two days I had to spend waiting on a new wheel. My wheel was ruined, the holes were bored out, making it useless. Not to mention the HUGE SAFETY RISK this put me in. Pep Boys got me all fixed up and back on the road. When I stopped at this location to see about them reimbursing me for the repairs, replacement wheel and lost days, they offered me $350. About a third of my total out of pocket. I told them that was unacceptable and we filled out the claim paperwork. Their claims guy called, I explained what had happened and he said he'd look into it. I have a job. A pretty good job. I was not looking to rip them off, I don't need to. I wasn't doing a "slip and fall" wanting them to buy me a house. I got REMARKABLY BAD SERVICE THAT COULD HAVE(luckily it didn't) KILLED ME!! I wanted them to make it right. That is all. I didn't ask for ANYTHING. I would have settled for just my out of pocket but, the video showed the guy torquing the lugs so, NOTHING. They claim NO FAULT AND I AM OUT ALMOST $1200!?! Needless to say, I am in the process of suing them now. If you mess up to the degree they did, SOMEBODY has to make it right. Especially when all that is being asked is what it cost me to repair YOUR BAD SERVICE!!

I would suggest if you are getting meals for several people that you call ahead and place your order and when you want to pick it up as it's made fresh and NOT cooked and sitting around under a heat lamp for hours. All the ladies working there are very nice & a pleasure to deal with also! Kevin D

This is a very old, small hometown grocery store that was recently purchased by a family from…read moreIndia. The new owners have put in a few upgrades to the store and it seems this is just the start. They now have a beer cave and a large expanded selection of craft beers and other alcoholic beverages. Does a small town with with more than 11 places that serve/sell alcohol within a 2 mile radius really need a beer cave and huge alcohol selection? I dont think so but thats the Mayor's fault not Medarys. They also updated the overhead lights to led lights so it is very bright. They have replaced the ice cream coolers as well as added pop/milk/dairy item coolers. The box/can food selection is good but expensive. You do not want to use this store for more than something you ran out of and need it asap! The produce department is terrible. They carry a few heads of lettuce and a couple pieces of fruit that seem to be seasonal. It's not very fresh and disappointing to people who are vegitarians. They do carry a nice banana selection but at 69 cents a pound its pricey. They have a hot/cold deli and a bakery section. Sliced deli meat is on par to a little pricey depending on selection and hardly ever on sale. Cheese is expensive and I havent seen a single sale so far but if you ask for Amish American at $4.99 a pound its a steal and in my opinion its better than Land-O-Lakes. They still have the best donuts in Clermont County! However like everything else they are expensive. About 20-45 cents higher per donut than previous owners. Still worth it! Now for the hot deli. Fried chicken and taters. Still seems to be the same flour/spice breading mixture as in the past. Chicken and potato wedges are amazing when first put in case. As time passes they become greasy, dry and terrible. They do offer an after 9pm special and the ladies will fry it fresh. They do offer cold fresh fried chicken in the open cooler like Kroger does. The non family staff is minimal. The ladies in the deli are all very nice and helpful. They work hard running both hot/cold deli, frying chicken and washing all the pots, pans, trays and things. At night there is only 1 person. The most I've seen even in rush hour is 2 ladies working. The owner and his wife are there always. Their son and another family member also have shifts. They all are nice but I think cultural differences sometimes make them seem rude. What I dislike is that they follow you around as if you are going to steal from them. Plus you are on a huge tv camera system so I dont know why they feel the need to make customers feel uncomfortable. That makes it feel less grocery store more corner bodega. They also sell an assortment of incense and a couple hookah pipes. Really? This is a farm town with country folks. This turns many people away. Overall Medarys has your basics but are very expensive. The employees are friendly and the owner and his family are cordial. The store is kept very clean unlike previous owners. They need to expand their produce with fresh items and limit the bodega gimmick items. It would be nice to see some authentic Indian food in the hot deli.

I have mixed feelings about this grocery store. There are definitely things I really appreciate…read moreabout it. The area genuinely needs a grocery store, and this location fills an important role in the community. The workers are always kind and welcoming, which makes a big difference, and the store has a nice local feel. I especially like how they decorate for holidays, it makes it feel more personal and connected to the neighborhood. That said, the biggest downside for me is the produce. It's often not very fresh, which is disappointing, especially since access to fresh food is so important. I also wouldn't say the prices are noticeably lower than other affordable grocery stores, so it doesn't fully stand out in that way either. If this store is serving as a primary grocery option for a smaller community, I do think there's a responsibility to provide fresh, quality produce to support people's health. I really hope that's something they can improve, because this store has a lot of positive qualities otherwise.

(Spaghetti) I haven't been in a Save a Lot in many, many years but it's still the same. There's a few name brand items. Most are Save a Lot's own brand. The variety of selections are limited. Most of the produce looked pretty bad. Soft potatoes. Squishy, bruised bell peppers. Brown lettuce. I was able to find only 2 onions passable enough to buy. And the half & half I bought was spoiled even though the date was good. The quality of the food is likely why the store only had a couple a customers on a Friday at 5 p.m. The service was friendly and fairly quick but I probably would only ever stop in again if I only needed one or two items. And definitely not for the produce or dairy. Too bad. It's less than 10 minutes from home but the quality is just too sub par.
