Not very professional. Patient's are sent around their campus. Very seldom will a provider treat you without out sourcing you. Ridiculous. I have been sent to cardiologist, dermatologist, neurologist and had CT scans, x-rays, breathing treatments, and more. Non of which confirmed a diagnosis, or improved my health or helped. I often think they do this to increase insurance income to their clinic. Also their equipment is not necessary state of the art, and the nurse giving an EKG seemed totally out of her comfort zone. I've been to them on off over the years and the battleground office is terrible the Lindsey office in high Point is also terrible! The one at ski club the doctors not so great but the staff seem fine I wish I could say something great but I can't I'd be lying they charge you for tests they never do and ability to your Medicaid or your Medicare or whatever insurance you have and then they send you a bill showing you these tests are they used to I don't think they do that anymore! I have voice my concerns several times over the years and it's the type of things they could improve type of care care quality office experience all of it! I do not have insurance so I had to pay $250 for a visit where I spoke to a rude PA and was told she needs X-rays medical records etc even WITH a referral from my specialist, a referral wasn't good enough! I told her I had no issues with that but it should've been relayed to me what was needed before my $250 consult which was 5 mins. I have never felt so humiliated in my life!! I asked if I get the information once I came back would I have to pay since this visit was for NOTHING she said yes maam. I was so upset I walked out I feel like I was robbed and taken completel advantage of! I have no insurance due to a layoff and to have to pay $250 for NOTHING!??? I reported PA Ryan Miller to the NC med board. One of his employees Linda Teseniar had forged prescriptions, and tried to silence me by taking me to court. As stated in court, she was fearful of losing her job. Because of her forged medication that she has provided to me under Ryan miller it has put me in the hospital. A friend of mine which is physically disabled n in severe pain all the time went to visit her pain mgn doctor name DR. WHEELER. We waited 1hr and 1/2 to be seen 1st of all. When I complained he suddenly appeared in the door way shaking his head NO to her. I'm not changin your medicine! He not only was rude but would not even listen to her n how bad she has been hurting. She has been on the same medicine for over 5 years and he wouldn't give her the time of day. I stepped in and he shut me down n would not listen. SO anyone thinking of going to him I would NOT advise even if you have to go out of network!!! i'VE NEVER BEEN SO MAD IN MY LIFE! I let it be known before I left there would be a complaint on here... bless her she does not know how to speak up for herself. Due to the pain she can't drive n her mind is gettin so bad. TB test I called to receive a TB test done for schoo. I called to make sure that my insurance would cover, they told me YES. I got my TB test done and they sent me a bill. Unfortunatel, i was very disappointed because i called to make sure that the type of TB test will be covere. They went ahead and provided me the service. I received a bill of $384 and $106 from labcorp and bethany respectivel. This is awfully expensive. Please provide the right information to patients who need your services . read more

Medical practice This is the most unprofessional and unresponsive place I've ever seen. I called on a Tuesday (1/2) for a sick appointment. There was over a 90 minute wait so I chose the "guaranteed" call back. As of Saturday (1/6), I still had not heard back from anyone. On Saturday, I called again. This time the message said that the wait time was 886 minutes and that I could stay on the line or select the automatic call back again. I stayed on the phone 2 hours waiting, I had my husband also call for the "guaranteed call back". Neither one of us ever got a call back or a representative to pick up the phone. I am supposed to be a "patient" there ... and I'm so disgusted I will NEVER return. It really doesn't matter if the office is open 6-6 and 7 days a week. If no one ever will take your call or call you back to schedule a visit - what good is it?? Proof, it's all about $$ - and has nothing to do with my personal health. Shame on you! read more

This place is a joke. I made an appointment on 2/14 for 4/2 (the earliest they could get me in) then received a text that it was cancelled on 3/24. So, I tried to make another appointment for 5/3 (again, the earliest they could get me in) and I just received another text that this one was also cancelled. The High Point, South Main St sign outside says "Urgent care" and "walk ins welcome". On 11/29/23, I walked in at 5:20pm. After calling Lindsey St. location and was told to go to the S. Main St. location. The lady at the front desk told me, I could not be seen because I did not have an appointment. I told her, why does this establishment say it is for urgent care and walk ins, if you can't walk in and be seen. She said: "I know, I told them they shouldn't say we are urgent care, because we are not, and patients need to have an appointment. I honestly think Bethany has gotten to be a JOKE! I have been seen by Don Bulla for many, many years. I used to tell everyone they need to switch to Bethany. I do not do that any longer. Because Bethany has become such a hassle and all they want to do it run test and run test to build up money for their parents to pay and so they can bill our insurance. Medical Insurance has gotten ridiculous because of establishments like Bethany. I will NEVER refer anyone to Bethany again. If you have a higher insurance deductible you better be prepared to pay $125 a visit until you reach your deductible, regardless if your insurance is set up where you pay a co pay anywhere else. Its Bethany medical's policy, that anyone with a higher deductible pays $125 a visit until they almost meet the deductible. My insurance is set up for a $35 copay anywhere else, but they want me to pay $125 a visit. This place is a joke. read more

This happens every time you call you cannot get a hold of no one the wait will send your blood pressure up I have been waiting 10 minutes just to confirm my appointment on what location because on the portal which is half wrong and they will tell you that you cannot get a hold of them and then when you go there they overbook so you'll wait when you get there as longer than the wait on the phone I actually just had to hang up I'm going to go to whichever one I feel like I guess and if I'm wrong I'm wrong I really need a private doctor then they wait and bill me over $600 instead of taking my copay when I ask them every time what do I owe nothing yet now my bill is going all way back to February this is getting ridiculous I've got a lot more complaints I love the doctors if they was at a private office but then again I'm going to stop here read more

Been a pain mgmt patient since Aug 2022. I've had two spinal fusions, phy therapy and injections. Nothing helped. Bethany prescribed pain meds which took the edge off my pain so I was functioning again. I went in this month and was accused of putting water in my urine sample. Absurd! Dr. Called in just 28 pills and it's usually 120 for a month. I've called and left three messages and nobody will call me back with an explanation. I never failed my drug test with positive street drugs. I puzzled. read more

Please monitor your billing and insurance submissions ! My experience has been a saga. They did not submit to our insurance ( Medicare ) until well over a year and so Medicare refused to pay. We were stuck with the entire bill. Multiple calls and conversations were fruitless with the Bethany billing office - we were met with rudeness when we did speak to someone or unresponded messages. We finally gave up and paid the large bill. Then they continued to send bills and harrass us for payment for 3 months because they did not post the payment. They took no initative to check anything. Again, we were met with rudeness and incompetent billing business practices. I just hope it is now resolved and we never have to deal with them again. read more

HORRIBLE. I don't know why I didn't listen to the reviews. I was seen by a physician assistant for my psoriasis. She was rude, and basically asked why I even came in. I was aware that they were busy that day, and she treated me like she had no time for me. I'm a grown woman and this woman asked me if I had been going to the "cookie" doctor. You CANNOT be serious. As if that has anything to do with my psoriasis. She then told me that it was just dry skin and if it were psoriasis it would be ALL over me. I immediately realized she didn't even know the difference between psoriasis and eczema. This place was disorganized, the workers do not seem to know what they are doing. I have been a patient at Bethany Medical Center for 5 years and I recommended it to my husband who is on medicare, he had a city scan of the neck which he could not pay in full since September, his income is social security, nobody  He offered us a payment plan, we did not know that he would not have access to his doctor unless he paid the debt, it is unheard of that at his follow-up appointment they told him that he could not see the doctor, he has been without sleep medication for a month because  He needed the approval of the doctor, who could not see. read more

I have seen Dr. Kincaid for years for a pain issue. I thought we had a great relationship until yesterday. He had been out of the office for weeks. Being advanced in age I was afraid he was getting ready to retire. So I felt like I needed to cover my bases and establish myself with another doctor. I told him about this and he was fine with it. He asked that I bring in the results. When I did, he started screaming at me saying "if you want to go somewhere else FINE I AM NOT TREATING YOU ANYMORE!" He then threw open the door and yelled at the nurses "SHE WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND I AM NOT TREATING HER!!" THEN, the nurse has the nerve to come in and tell me that I can only be seen for pain that since he is not my primary care physician they cannot treat me. I have to make another appointment. This behavior is unprofessional, abusive, and he should be reprimanded. The staff doesn't give a flip about you but I tolerated them because of Dr. Kincaid. No more. If you choose to go there, be prepared to be treated rudely and ready to fight for your rights. read more

Was sent for a pre-employment TB test on Thursday. Upon arrival and check-in it took almost an hour before being called back. Took all of one minute to complete the TB test and was told to come back on Saturday at 10:00 for the results to be read. At 10:15, I was taken back to an exam room where I sat until 11:00 before the nurse practitioner came in to read the results. Then I sat there until 11:40 waiting for paperwork to no avail. No legitimate excuse for such an extensive wait time on something this simple! No, I don't recommend this clinic!! read more

I had 2 appointments with a rude, callous, and extremely dismissive doctor at the medical center in High Point, NC, 27265. I have been plagued with many health issues over the past 5 years, and I have never experienced such appalling medical service and treatment from any doctor or their medical staff. With no health insurance, my first appointment cost me a total of $750 and no, that is NOT a misprint, office visit for a new patient and lab work!! I truly regret going to Bethany Medical Center and want people to know that if you leave a message for the doctor to call you back because you have a question or concern, you will not be called back. I left multiple voice messages on the doctors line and was not contacted by any staff members. Called for a week straight, then finally got the medical assistant on the line, and I asked why no one has returned my calls? Her answer was, You never called, what number did you dial? Are you kidding me, I left multiple voice messages on the doctors voicemail, so she outright lied to me! The doctors that I have been treated by, did not show any empathy, nor concern for my health. Messages might left with the PCPs. They don't seem to get them. The telephone system is slow, inadequate, and hangs up on you. I called many times a week to get blood test results and never get a call back. I went for an urgent visit for great pain pain. They told me to go to the next building. They said its the wrong building and told me to wait in the stairwell in the next building for a call. After an hour wait, I was told they were coming for me. Nobody came. Then someone in that building asked me why I was there. Then later someone walked ne over to a fourth building, gave me a chair to sit on the sidewalk. Eventually someone swabbed my nose, and gave me a cup to spit in. She came back to say my test is negative, and to bring a paper to the first building. She said the paper is not acceptable, I was not allowed in the building, and must wait for a call back the next day or so. I received a call that perscriptions were called in to a pharmacy accross the street. The person did not know what the medications were or for. After other phone calls, another just said an RX or two would be there but not know what. Finally someone else called to tell me that the drugs were for imflamation. I don't understand what that means. I do not know if there was an issue with my ear, tooth or what. I picked up and took the meds. I don't know what my health issue was. I was never seen or examined. Days later after I made many calls, I finally got a new doctor, and an in person visit for a different issue. The nurse Charly was quite arrogant, insensitive, condescending, patronizing, unresponsive or terse and unfriendly. I am age 63. The doctor told me I had Scoliosis. I never heard that before. I received x rays. I had to call back for the doctor to return to find out my previous test results and answer questions that I went there for in the first place. I came to NC in June. Every other doctor would not give me an appointment untill March. NC seems awful for healthcare. read more

He came in asked a few questions immediately told me I needed an MRI AND BLOODWORK. After I've already received blood work 2 weeks prior to this visit. Says I need more testing. My insurance apparently didn't cover the visit. I was supposed to pay $150 and had a credit so it was $50. They basically begged me to stay and do my visit for $50. So they couldn't have told me I could pay $50 before? That was the first red flag. I should've known this place was just a money scheme. Please save yourself from this place. The staff, doctors and the expensive cost is outrageous. As others said, you will be billed for services you never asked for or needed. And they won't tell you the price. This review is for Dr Schneider, the dermatologist. I was referred to her by two of my physicians for skin issue. She doesn't have good bedside manners. And shrugged my concerns off. She gave me two prescription- one for eucrisa and the other for Coltrane handing me coupons and saying it would cost me $10. Turns out the eucrisa will cost me $620 and the Coltrane $880. My pharmacist told me most insurances don't cover this med. Wasted trip to an inefficient doctor who clearly is a saleswoman for the expensive meds. Waste of $100 copay. My advice is take your business elsewhere. read more

This is for the location on Battleground in Greensboro. 1. Disorganized staff that are unable to locate medical records and/or prescription requests on a regular basis. There is no chain of custody and this requires repeated calls with no accountability. 2. Asked about using the electronic portal at the front desk and hearing that they "did not know how to use it". 3. The lack of explanation for performing medical certain tests. 4. During my last visit, I explicitly went over four prescriptions with my provider that I requested have refills. I offered to leave the paper with him (which I had written down the names dosages of, pharmacy, etc.) He looked at the sheet, stated he understood and then they were never called in (he left the paper I had written for him in the room). This office is usually fairly busy in them mornings and evenings. Mid-day is normally slow and therefore then best time form "walk-ins"! Except when the nurses decide they want a "break"! I am convinced that is the problem today! I called to reschedule my appointment since I was out of town this morning. When I got back I called to be seen on a walk-in basis. I was told I could be seen at 2:30 and since it was almost 2:00 I said fine. Less than 5 minutes later I was told I would have to reschedule for tomorrow! REALLY???? A couple of the Doctors seem to care about their patients but they are forced by upper management to hurry through the visits so make sure you write down anything you want to have addressed at your visit. Time is of the essence, even when there is no one in the waiting room! read more

This is one of the top Medical facilities I have ever visited if not the best. Friendly and Caring staff and they're open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK AND HOLIDAYS to make avaiable Medical care for their patients when it is easier for the patient to be seen. I am always seen at the Kimmel Forest drive location in Winston-salem NC. I only had a positive experience each and every time I had an appointment. They also will see you without an appointment and provide Urgent care! The Office and Medical staff are a CREDIT TO THEIR PROFESSION! Great job everyone! read more

I have been to the peters court location multiple times and never felt like I got amazing service. But it is close to my work so I continued going. This last time pushed me over the edge. I went in to be tested for a UTI. After saying that they THOUGHT that's what I had they prescribed me antibiotics. Of which I finished as prescribed. One week later I started experiencing the same symptoms. After they would not answer their phone all day I decided to just wait until my follow up appointment the following week. Again, they couldn't figure out what was wrong and had to send it out of office. While I was waiting for my test results I started getting awful almost unbearable pain. Called to see what they could do. They wanted me to come back in so I could pay them again just to get pain meds. Needless to say I didn't go back. Then I had to call them to get my results!!! UNACCEPTABLE! The results were that I did not have a UTI or kidney infection. It looked like I was getting ready to develop a kidney stone. But they didn't feel the need to call and tell me that.
