Bathrooms are tiny and toilets are very low. Bathroom isn't really family friendly or easy for a woman to get ready. Breakfast is minimal. In the morning, housekeeping woke us up even though we were checking out. I hope there are better places in Wetaskiwin, but I can't say for sure.

My room had a comfy king bed, spacious bathroom, makeup mirror and shelf with padded stool in the bedroom. A nice closet for hanging items and luggage rack A nice separate little refreshment bar with sink, fridge, microwave and coffee maker complete with regular & to-go cups. Decent desk & chair. Nicely appointed with terry robes, and an in room safe for all your winnings ;-) I was on business, and didn't need to test it out. Overall impression is that the room was quite clean. Black light check was good revealed the outside of toilet drops & usual door contact areas needed an extra wipe. We arrived and upon check-in were informed that there was a complimentary beer and wing night! We decided to check it out. My companions did appear to enjoy their snackings. Gluten free offerings aren't exactly listed on the menu, but the waitress had the kitchen adapt a salmon dish for me. There was a breakfast buffet included with the room, but I wasn't able to take advantage of it. Meeting space was satisfactory for our needs. Didn't get a chance to check out the casino.

I…read morehad heard good things about it from a family member so I was hoping for a relaxing experience. We arrived on a Sunday and there were a few parking spots. The check in was quick as no one was waiting. They had plexiglass between the staff and I. We received our keys and she told us where our room was. I went back later as she didn't provide us with the wifi code the first time. Our room was close to the Spa and a short walk. I booked a room with a 2 Queen beds, a jetted tub, and sitting area in the back of the room. There was a microwave and mini fridge. The beds were ok, a bit squishier than I like but still had a comfortable sleep. The jetted tub was fabulous and relaxing, I used it numerous times during our stay. We didn't watch TV at all as I had a tablet to watch shows on. I was expecting a decent walking path behind the inn but the path wasn't great with lots of branches on the walkway but we did go check it out. It was fairly quiet until our neighbours left their barking dog in their room while they were out. Due to covid they did not clean our room during our stay. If we needed anything, we went to the front desk and they were able to provide what we needed. The staff were friendly every time I interacted with them. It was nice to have the grocery store, a few restaurants, and stores to walk and browse. It was a short drive to Pigeon Lake Provincial Park. I would definitely stay here again for a close getaway only an hour from home!

Both were great here. I especially like the all white bedding (sheets, blanket, AND bedspread), because you can SEE that they are clean. I've never seen that before in a motel/hotel as they usually have dark coloured bedspreads to hide dirt. My room was great. King bed, sofa, desk, dresser, TV, wired & wireless Internet, mini-refrigerator, microwave oven, Kurig coffee maker, dresser, wardrobe, full bath, HVAC. My only complaint is that the bathroom lights flicker and click four to five times when turned on before staying on, which is annoying. I didn't use the pool, hot tub, and waterslide, but looked in on them. They are basic, but interesting. I didn't look at the workout room. The free breakfast was, well, fuel for the body. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage patties were kind of plain, which is I guess is the point, so they don't turn anyone off. They had a bottle of Asian hot sauce there, but I was too "chicken" to try it, so I just stuck with ketchup. Bagel, toast & OJ were OK. I didn't try to make a waffle, and I didn't try the cold cereal. I would have liked some fruit, though. If I need to stay the night in Camrose again, this will be where I will stay.
