Open late, until 10 during the week, not sure about weekends. Very friendly and prompt customer service. Legit food, lots of Armenians eating there and speaking to employees in Armenian so you know they're not messing around in here. Food was great, I had a chicken schwarma wrap. Wraps were a little small but if you get an order of fries to enjoy it with you'll be good, the portion of fries is huge- big enough to share. Wish they weren't as thick but they're still yummy. Tzatziki was good and so was the pita, nice and warm as well as soft! Their house sauce is amazing! The taste is perfect and subtle! They sell bottled drinks and waters and they also have fountain drinks. Wish they had unsweetened iced tea. I'd love to come back if I'm in the area again! It was after 10p and we were hungry after landing at Burbank airport, thanks to Yelpers who brought us here. We got a chicken shawarma wrap and beef shawarma plate. The chicken wrap is big and it is not like a burrito. You cannot cut it in half because once you do, it will just unroll itself and it gets very messy. It's better to just eat half and give the other half to the person you wanna share with. But you may not want to share next time because it's very delicious. Hubby got the beef shawarma plate but he prefers the chicken better, however he said it tasted better the next day as leftovers. The plate comes with pita, hummus, salad and it's very filling. Second time here. I remember when I tried it the first time, I had to write the name down as their kabobs were great. I would say you are getting Raffi's place quality in a more affordable environment. Hands down one of the best kabobs in town. I was super hungry and craving mediterranean food so I checked out this local eatery. I was not disappointed. The customer service was splendid, the people behind the counter were wonderfully sweet and friendly. (I've been there a couple of time) and I enjoyed my lamb kebab very much!!! Do you like your food juicy and delicious or dry and rubbery? I haven't had good kabobs in a long time and decided to try it and WoW amazing. Tried the shawarma after and did not disappoint either. This was a very delicious location to eat some authentic Mediterranean/ Armenian Food. Don't let the small business appearance fool you. Maay fancy, and large places miss the mark, but Best Shawarma is delicious. The guys are friendly and hospitable, but most importantly they know how to cook. The dishes and meat are marinated properly, but what makes it over the top is that they use a real charcoal/brisquet grill. They cook your meat of choice or poultry on large metal sckewers over the open fire. read more

If you're going to get the felafel plate I highly recommend you think twice about it. It's 5 chunky deformed looking pieces of felafel that tasted like oil; sitting on lettuce and hummus. I got their chicken wrap and I was very hungry and I was looking forward having Schwarma for dinner. Both servers were nice but one guy was flirting with me while preparing my schwarma. I thought it was inappropriate and couldn't wait to get out of there. I paid $12 for the chicken wrap. I also asks for more sauce and they gave me extra sauce without up charging me. Everything was good except that the salad in the schwarma tasted old. That's the reason why they are getting 3 stars. The name speaks very true to the quality of this place. One of the best Shawarma's I have had. I tend to order these wraps every time I visit a restaurant that offers them. This one comes second to my favorite in New York City. WOW. I'm so glad to have made this discovery close to home. We ordered to go last night and tried the chicken and beef combination wrap and the pork shawarma wrap. Their special sauce is perfect. I recommend both. This place is delish. Best lamb in town. The fries are crazy big but who says no to lots of fries? The chicken and beef lula leave something to be desired but otherwise, it's GOOD. It's a small, friendly staff there. They'll figure you out fast after a few visits. Best place to get Middle Eastern after Raffi's. Priced reasonably, too. Only thing I'd say is fix the bathroom. Been out of service for ages. Clients wanna be able to wash their hands before eating. And offer more diet drinks. Like Sprite Zero or diet ginger ale. read more

I don't really leave reviews but I really want the public to know not to come to this place. I was humiliated by this older chunky man. This man is the owner of the place and has cursed me out and told me to leave the place and said few things aggressively in his native language which I'm assuming is Armenian. I am from Saudi Arabia, and coming from where i come, i am very picky about shawerma taste and chicken marination. This place by far is my favorite in California. They have the Lebanese bread and the chicken marination and spices is very very good and tasty. I usually order via uber eats but this time I visited the store and i was welcomed by the sales person yarish/warish. He was very hospitable and I enjoyed my experience in store. The food is good but the place need more attention cleanliness wise and organization. for example I ordered lamb Shawarma and lamb shawarma , they did not put any effort to mark each as lamb vs beef. Another thing: I asked for a receipt but he never gave me one. And he looked funny at me when I did put tip for my to go order. The guys work hard and I certainly will go back and eat more of this yummy shawarma but I decided to give them three stars to motivate them to improve. read more

They charge $3 for bread ?!?!? Last time they burned the bread and i was expecting this time they wont charge me, but they didn't even care. Ops! Let me add something else. I just ordered my food and they used to give other stuff and extra sauce, but not anymore and you have to pay extra $ for sauce.
