Delicious food friendly service. We ordered wraps and fries all were delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful, JacobV educated us on the ordering process and gave us suggestions for next time. He and the other staff made an effort to get to know us. There are some tables to eat there but it's kinda small. There was plenty of parking. I will return and order another wrap.

I ate here on a Wednesday and from Thursday to Monday, I had an upset stomach. Employee was nice. Small parking lot for the plaza. Might be difficult to find parking on busy times. Food definitely was not fresh. The hummus was very dry for some reason. The rice was also not fresh. On a good note, I lost some weight.

Best food and customer service in town! Huge shoutout to Varuz for truly going above and beyond to take care of me, that level of service doesn't go unnoticed. I can't deny, one of the best shawarmas I have had in a while. They do have a lamb shawarma, which is somewhat a rarity these days. I got the Lamb Shawarma Wrap with lavash and it was great. Very classic Armenian style, nothing extra, just the meat, veggies, herbs, and the sauce. They use real charcoal for their grills so I am definitely coming back to try more.

So I don't usually write reviews, but I HAD to for this place. Everything we got was incredible. The beef plate was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful, the pork fries were next level (seriously so good), and the dolma and tzatziki were fresh and delicious. Every single thing we tried was a hit, but what really made this place special was the customer service! They were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. They even gave us free banana pudding, which was amazing! You can tell they take pride in their food and how they treat people. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone. amazing food and staff was so kind &helpful!!!

Oh my god. The first 3 words out of my mouth full of delicious pork, fries, and whatever else they put in this thing. The guys here are super nice, always will to accommodate, and the food is fantastic. I appreciate the outdoor seating for the fresh air too.

I was served cold chicken in a pan that was thrown under the broiler to get reheated instead of having the freshly cooked meat on the spit shaved off. Unbelievable. I ordered a shawarma wrap that was served with bagged salad mix with the thin carrot strips, way too much sauce, and no chili like the menu advertises. Do not eat here. Go to Grand Foods on Jackson and Glenoaks instead. read more

the OH MY GAWD fries are hands down the best loaded fries I've ever had and I've experienced my fair share of loaded fries! Literally had me saying oh my gawd!!! Their secret sauce, I would put on everything. The beef melts in your mouth and really compliments the perfectly gold French fries. Not only was I hung up on multiple times when I was trying to call to ask what was in the shawerma wrap, but after 6 failed attempts I finally had my husband call from a different number and the person who picked up dealt with him nicely. I'm guessing I was being hung up on because my first call was put on hold for over 5min ( so thinking I got forgotten, I hung up and called back ) that's when they proceeded to keep hanging up on me. So, my husband places the order and I go to pick it up. Let's start with no one in there is wearing a mask. Whatever, let's get past that too. My shawerma wrap was actually good, however my husband's lule was burned to a crisp. Onto my biggest issue. I do not use this particular debit card ANYWHERE. it always sits in my purse which is usually at home now because im pregnant and don't like carrying a heavy purse around. My husband told me to take that debit card and use it to get the food. So, I did. The next day someone adds my card to their Google play and tries to make a $83.50 purchase from the Ralph's on Central. This is the only place I have used my card in the past 2 months. Be careful of their square reader. Here is the owners response to my review. Rather then trying to figure out what could have happened, he voted "funny" on the review and accused me of writing a fake review. Please check out my previous reviews, none of them are fake. today I decided to try chicken shawarma, ordered with extra chicken, but in reality I got a cold small chicken wrap with a huge amount of onions inside, like shawarma, no taste or sauce and except for lettuce leaves, fresh herbs and onions there was nothing inside, and it cost me 17 dollars, I highly do not recommend eating this shawarma, it is not the only one in Glendale! read more

This place has showed me one of the best shawarma's that I've had in my life no exaggeration. I've been to three other places in and tried their Shawarma plates, I want to say that this place has probably been my overall pic from the three I've been to, the lamb plate is one of my favorite items they have there especially their wraps. We went here on a whim after moving into the area and the owners were so sweet. The food is cooked to order and delicious. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap with a side of the grape leaves and falafel. (The shawarma sauce and tzatziki are worth noting as well -- both were great.) I was blown away by how friendly the staff was. Hannah only was I going in for an amazing kebab they invited me for the whole experience. It wasn't just a meal. It was a family experience coming from a different country. I felt completely at home they wanted to share their local drinks. This one goes out to the lovely employee who reheated my fries today - thank you thank you thank you! I ordered a salad (beautiful, packed with tomato, olives, and feta) and fries on Yelp, went into Best Shawarma, and upon realizing that Yelp told me a much longer wait time than needed, the gentleman behind the counter fired up the fries and didn't want to serve me anything cold. That extra effort of kindness made all the difference in taste (truly the best fries & special sauce in Glendale) and it meant a lot to me, some exhausted stranger in sweats trying to quickly pick up a good meal. Thank you for your service and kindness! Highly recommend Best Shawarma to anyone looking for a delicious meal and perfect service. I went to pick up lunch for our helpers. I ordered 1 chicken plate, 1 beef plate, 1 lamb plate and 2 orders of fries. The man at the front desk was very friendly and he told me the fries portions are huge and i only need 2 portions of fries, not 3. He was definitely right. The fries are the thick and seasoned, put-the-potato-back-together type of french fries. The plate comes with one rolled pita, rice, hummus, and a little salad. The meat is spread on top of the rice, and then the sauce is drizzled on top of the meat, beautiful instagram art. Portions are huge.. i think you could easily split a plate with 2 people or split a plate and a side with 3 people. Staff makes an effort to be on a first name basis. I wish i took pictures... so good. my mother is the most critical person ive ever met and she called the lamb plate and fries.... perfect. read more

I experienced extremely bad customer service. The staff were really rude and talked negatively about other customers in front of me. The food was okay, but there are better places out there. Too overpriced for what it is. I would not recommend this restaurant. Save your nerves and don't go there. read more

Best Shawarma really goes out on a limb with their name, but it's really really good and definitely my favorite anywhere remotely nearby. I used to live right around the block from this spot in Glendale and it was my go-to for a few years. Fast forward to today, I still haven't found a better spot for shawarma! The plates come with a hefty portion of rice and freshly sliced and oven crisped shawarma, hummus, salad, and a large pita. They cover the meat in this sauce which i would compare to In-n-Out's spread which we all know is delicious. The shawarma is juicy and yet crispy, and they really give you a generous portion in the plates. I haven't been able to find anywhere in my area in LA that can match what they have in Glendale, so I'll just have to suck it up and make the commute when I need my fix! read more

One of the best Mediterranean food places I've come across. Hole in the wall style joint with amazing food, and customer service. We had the pork kebab and the lula beef plate which came with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. Really big portions! I cleaned it up, left nothing behind so needless to say, I had to write a review. Will definitely be back. By the way, there's public parking on Artsakh Ave - 90 minutes free and cheap hourly after.

By chance, I happened to see this restaurant was just a few minutes from our hotel. With the promising ratings, and seeing that it's a humble independent restaurant, I selected Adana with enthusiasm. The restaurant's space is fairly small with just a few tables, and at 4:00PM, a couple of customers were finishing up their meals when we entered. We asked our waitress about the size of the entrées and she mentioned they are pretty large since they include salad, hummus and pita. That said, we decided to order three entrees for the four of us to share, specifically two of the Combination and one Soltani Combo. Our waitress had a wonderful idea of serving everything family style. All the meat and rice literally came on a platter, with bowls of salad, hummus and seasoned onions on the side. Alongside all of this, she brought out a basket with two types of pita - one soft, and the other toasted. It was a TON of food! + COMBINATION DINNER ($25.99): Including chicken, beef and looleh (ground lamb kabob), this plate provides you with a perfect variety. The chicken was absolutely flawless! I normally don't describe chicken as being succulent, but this one was so juicy, and marinated with a perfect grill. It may be one of my top chicken dishes... ever! I also loved the looleh, which was flavored with onion, parsley and some warm spices. I can be hesitant to order lamb due to the gaminess, but I didn't find it too wild at all. Somehow, I missed trying a bite of the beef, but my dining companions apparently enjoyed it since they gobbled it all up before I could snatch some. + SOLTANI COMBO DINNER ($37.99): In terms of meats, this plate had cuts of filet mignon and a koobideh (ground beef) kabab. The filet mignon was pretty tender and tasted quite natural, which is how it should be enjoyed. The koobideh was also delicious, hefty with a rich beefy flavor. These dishes came with a fluffy side of rice, which tasted a little buttery. I couldn't stop eating the refreshing Persian Salad of chopped cucumber and tomato, in addition to the side of sliced marinated onions. Both of these brought a nice crunch and their acidity paired perfectly in between bites of meat. Their hummus was impeccable as well... so nutty and light, almost having a whipped consistency. The hummus of my dreams, seriously! If that wasn't enough food, I couldn't resist trying their EGGPLANT DISH ($10.99) appetizer. Also known as Kashk-e-Bademjan, fried eggplant came topped with condensed yogurt, fried onions and mint. The eggplant was sliced thin and tasted like it had a slight char. The yogurt sauce was nice and creamy with the onions adding so much flavor and the mint gave it a cool finish. Needless to say, I loved this! Our waitress was the sweetest, being so genuine and providing us with the best hospitality. She shared that the restaurant's owner uses ingredients of the utmost quality, including real saffron from abroad. It really comes through in the food and the service, you get the sense that they are down to earth and no gimmicks, they believe in every single thing on the menu and it is undoubtedly fantastic. I am excited to come back and try other menu items although I will never not get the lamb because it is now my number 1 lamb in LA. The interior is simple and there's no frills. The name speaks very true to the quality of this place. One of the best Shawarma's I have had. I tend to order these wraps every time I visit a restaurant that offers them. This one comes second to my favorite in New York City. WOW. I'm so glad to have made this discovery close to home. This place is delish. Best lamb in town. The fries are crazy big but who says no to lots of fries? The chicken and beef lula leave something to be desired but otherwise, it's GOOD. It's a small, friendly staff there. They'll figure you out fast after a few visits. Best place to get Middle Eastern after Raffi's. Priced reasonably, too. Only thing I'd say is fix the bathroom. This man is the owner of the place and has cursed me out and told me to leave the place and said few things aggressively in his native language which I'm assuming is Armenian. I am from Saudi Arabia, and coming from where i come, i am very picky about shawerma taste and chicken marination. This place by far is my favorite in California. They have the Lebanese bread and the chicken marination and spices is very very good and tasty.
