Summary - I contracted with Lake Worth Custom Cabinetry (LWCC) to do kitchen and bathroom cabinetry…read morefor a renovation of a small cottage in Lake Worth Beach. Everything started out wonderfully, but then the relationship went steeply downhill. LWCC signed a detailed contract, but later demanded additional payment for items included in that contract. They demanded early payment, and then walked off the job without completion. Additionally, there were issues with the quality of their work. The contract I signed with LWCC in February 2021 specified four payments: 50% before work began, 25% when cabinet boxes were completed, and the remaining 25% when all work was completed. In July 2021, they walked off the job without completing the work and demanded the bulk of the final payment before finishing. As I needed the work done in order to receive a certificate of occupancy, I complied. In February of 2022, I reached out requesting they complete the work. They declined and said they had lost a significant amount of money on the job. As they determined the contract price, required I pay more for items already included in the contract, and did not complete the work, I do not see how this could be true. Work never completed, though specified in eight pages of drawings which were included in the contract: 1. A pull out under the kitchen sink for the trash cans - This work was never done. LWCC said trash cans would not fit due to plumbing. But I may have the plumbing changed. So that is irrelevant to the fact that the work was not completed, despite repeated requests. 2. Installation of a "Magic Corner" cabinet accessory - The Magic Corner was included in the contract, but LWCC said I would have to pay for it. I did. However, they did not install it correctly and did not put a door on that cabinet. I am therefore left with a nonfunctional accessory and a gaping hole in my cabinetry. 3. A 33-inch kitchen sink - even though the drawings specified a 33-inch sink, I had to pay a change fee to have it installed. Quality issues include, I have pictures for anyone who is interested: 1. One cabinet had eight highly visible screws within 2 square inches. 2. One cabinet had four highly visible screws holes within 1 square inches. 3. Scuff marks and scratches on one cabinet door. 4. Shelving in pantry was not professionally installed. LWCC built an insert that sits in the cabinet. While it works, it is an obvious after the fact addition.

From the time we walked into Grandview with only questions and curiosity, Susana and her team gave us VIP treatment. From the design phase all the way through completion, I never had a concern or worry about timing, materials, installation, subcontractors or any other detail associated with the project. Ours was not just a simple cabinet replacement job. We needed a complete overhaul! Susana walked us through the entire design process with skill and expertise. The job included having mirrors removed (a lot of them!) a wall removed, soffit removed, ceiling replaced, complete cabinet removal and installation, island installation, granite countertop installation floor tiles, new backsplash and more. We needed Susana's expert GC and his plumber, tile expert, counter installation company and electrician. Each step of the way was extraordinarily smooth. We were consulted on every detail. The team worked swiftly and with the care and precision you could only dream of for people working in your home. Best of all, the project came in ON BUDGET and was completed AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! I cannot say enough good things about Grandview Kitchens! If you're even considering a kitchen project of any size or scale, call Susana. You will not regret it! Andrew S. 12/1/2021

We had them do a complete Kitchen remodel 1 year ago. The product itself and Susana whom helped us…read moreduring the process was amazing. The person they used to come out and install everything ( Frank) was another issue. He did a shitty job, Suzanne fixed as much as she could and worked with us but this guy left wires in the wall that apparently was the main gfi, that eventually had to be cut out. Then he left a cut out hole in the cabinet above the microwave because he had originally installed them to far to one side and had to be removed and reinstalled and then we still have the cord to the microwave rolled up in the cabinet so you can really only use one side of it. Needless to say working with him was a headache.

As usual Roger was an amazing resource and patient with our numerous design and material changes which required additional meetings. He is very responsive to correspondence which I have found to be a challenge in Miami with many businesses. Installation was a breeze. They installed the entire unit in two days and were very meticulous about the smallest details, and cleaned any trash they made. He even threw in a couple of upgrades that he thought would make the unit better. Do not hesitate to use this company!

You see, most people would stop there. The thing is, Avanti also brings to the table the good old handshake promise of craftsmanship as well as commitment to a job where the client is happy. From the promised timing of the job to my ability to call them back to adjust our drawers years later, they are always there. The always pick up and the craftsmanship is nothing short of amazing. That to me is a testament of a great company that stand behind their work.

We have done several projects with Rasin. In this case, we bought a house that had not been updated…read morein about 20 years and needed some modernity. I work from home, so I needed a dedicated home office in which I could comfortably spend a lot of time. Rasin listed carefully to how I wanted to organize my work and listened to what I was thinking aesthetically, and he was able to put together this great home office, which I am loving. The living room was equally outdated, and we needed a media center for our electronics components and also to display items that we have bought on our travels. After listening to what we were looking for, Rasin came back with a unique design in a few days, which were able to finalize. People have referred to Rasin as a carpenter, but I would say he is both an artist and a carpenter. He has his own tastes, but he LISTENS to the customer and is able to incorporate and give them what is important to them. Additionally, he does what he says he is going to do and he does it when he says he is going to do it. Unlike other crafts-folks, I have never had to chase Rasin or follow up to get the job completed, and I am always happy.
