I chose Chris to take our family (2 parents and 2 adult children) beach photos because I loved the…read morecontrast of light and dark in his photos, as well as his reasonable cost. The entire photo session took just under an hour, and the location was under the Oak Island pier to keep us out of the afternoon sun. The day was enjoyable and fast paced, and Chris let us suggest any poses we wanted! Only a few short days after the photo session, I was emailed a link to the pictures and a week later received the original files to download to my computer. While viewing the photos, there were some adjustments that could have been addressed during the actual photo session in regard to attention to detail (i.e. Squinty eyes, crazy hair, sunglasses on/off) that made me somewhat disappointed with the outcome of the photos. The day was enjoyable, and the less than stellar review is due to the minor mishaps in the photos that could have been addressed during the photo session.

Her eye for composition that completely surprised and impressed me. We would be walking, and she would start taking photos. I had no idea what inspired her until I saw the final pictures, which were stunning and perfect. And then I knew... she just has the ability to capture something that many photographers don't.

Before the session, I emailed Susie about her policies and what I was wanting in my daughter's photos. Susie was so clear about how her photo sessions go, her pricing, and what we would receive (digital photos and what we were allowed to do with them). She made my daughter feel so comfortable during the session and as a result, my daughter who often has a fake smile had some of the most beautiful photos she's ever had done The scenery Susie chose was gorgeous. And when unexpected weather came in on our first appointment, she was very quick to reschedule for us. I cannot recommend her enough

Clearly, she is beyond talented and her photographs are the REAL DEAL. I mean heck, just look at her portfolio on her website as well as her IG. Erin's photos for you - no matter what you hire her for and no matter how big the project - will be just as high quality as the shots you see on her website. Absolutely first class. Erin is also an excellent communicator and really works closely with you. She digs into things to figure out EXACTLY what you want and need. I've used Erin a few times for business pictures (nutrition and fitness) and she made me extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. I'm not exactly a natural when it comes to standing in front of the camera, but she was able to pull SO many amazing shots out of me! She also thinks really outside of the box. She's creative. She's NOT going to give you some generic photos that you see everyone else use or have. You're going to get something UNIQUE. I swear, at the end of your photoshoot, not only will you have some awesome photos and memories, but you'll probably want to take Erin out for coffee every single week just to hang out. It helps to work with someone who is engaging, friendly, and encouraging.

A trusted colleague of ours shared Matt's info. and after a bit of a wonky initial online communication request though Matt's insta or website (a bit foggy which!), we were able to get Matt on a mission. His professionalism and creativity really won us over. The rub? He's kept busy (because of his demand!) and his assistant is a bit slow to , well, assist. He's worth the wait! From his caring demeanor to the quality of his shoots really makes Matt a valued team member and colleague! Can't recommend enough :)

I'm not good at being photographed at all and he made me feel comfortable and relaxed and to be perfectly honest I look amazing in all of the pictures. And don't even get me started on my bride! For the engagement photos he started us off on the beach and we shot in several different locations and angles. He did some really cool stuff with reflections in the shallow water, and timed everything perfectly to get some really nice sunset photos. And somehow I'm not blinking in any of them. Same thing for the Official Wedding Pictures - everyone looks great, he got through it quickly, and he helped everyone feel good and easygoing. You can really tell that he's a professional. At the reception he got a ton of pictures which blows my mind because I swear I didn't see him anywhere - he's like a ninja. It absolutely did not seem like there was anyone taking pictures. You know how at some weddings the photographers are all over the place and it seems like everywhere you look there's a person with a camera in the way? Not Kristopher. And the pictures are so good! We got digital copies of everything. He's super fast about shipping out prints. And I very highly recommend the "Bellamy" package. The photo book is the perfect way to present your wedding album - it's hefty, feels great in your hands, the pages are nice and thick and the photos as I've said a few times are stunning.
