I love Bershka. I wish they had stores in the US. The prices and quality are really good. Every time I am in Europe I find a Bershka.

From the owner: In Milan’s historical city center, nestled in the 5 Vie…read moredistrict, Wait and See is a concept store unlike any other. Located in a former 18th-century convent, the space blends the warmth of a home with an eclectic, cosmopolitan sensibility. It’s a destination that invites pause and discovery — a place where browsing comes with a cup of coffee and a sense of wonder. Founded by Uberta Zambeletti, the boutique reflects her diverse creative journey — from textile design at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art, to roles as designer, stylist, and art director for brands such as Missoni, Max Mara, Etro, and Pinko. Her vision is rooted in the belief that luxury isn’t defined by price, but by meaning, uniqueness, and feeling. Wait and See offers a carefully curated selection of womenswear, accessories, jewelry, stationery, and vintage finds, all sourced internationally. The store also doubles as a gallery, hosting exhibitions and events that further express its lifestyle-driven philosophy: La Vita è Bella. In 2022, Uberta published her first book, A Stile Libero, offering reflections on fashion and life that echo the store’s ethos. Wait and see.

This is one of my all-time favorite brands. So much attention to detail (Jil Sander Navy-esque mini…read morebrand markers). and designer styles at affordable prices - although this season (winter 2018) way too closely resembles Gucci 2016. Sylvian Heach is a Napolitan designer. Every year the company releases fur coats and fur-trim vests and jackets. If that's not your thing, I fully understand; I don't think foxes and bunnies should die to clothe us, either. But if you're into that and don't want to pay thousands, Sylvian Heach is where you go. The store experience is also something else. The more pricy items are supposedly on the ground floor - quite opposite Zara, which places its sale items on ground floor to increase turnover. No, at SH, you give every piece you pick to the salesperson. This feels very personalized. And Nouha - she's good. Lethal on your wallets good. Either way, I left a happy camper with lovely finds. Happy to guide fellow Yelpers this way :)

It's definitely more conservative classy but perfect for work or more dressy events. We purchased a number of items in store because the quality, fit, and winter/new year prices were good. There is a NYC and an online presence for this retailer so do check out their catalog. I personally like the fit of their coats, scarves, and dresses. Many pieces say dry clean but I typically cold machine wash and flat line dry with no issues. The fit is slim so allow yourself room or double-check measurements.

Coming from the US, Zara clothes actually end up being a way better deal, even in euros! But anyways, I loved my visit here at this store. I have seen a lot of the same clothes here at the stores in Paris & London but at this Zara, they figured out a way to make these clothes seem way cuter & catch my eye. I actually found myself picking up and trying on clothes that at other stores, I simply just looked at on the hanger and walked away. I even bought a few tops and bottoms lol. I would totally come here again!

Before coming to Salvagente, I heard you could buy really nice, well-known designer brands for…read moreREALLY cheap. Stuff like Moscino, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. Clearly NOT! I guess the July sale began YESTERDAY, so all the good stuff got bought- either that, or, they just don't have a good selection in general. Spent about 2 hours rummaging through racks and racks of size 42/44 clothes, and found 1 nice black Velvet long sleeve dress, 1 sexy Fisico black summer dress, and 1 KAOS denim tight dress. Cute, but not the designer name brands I was looking for. If the sale only started yesterday, there should've still been SOME stuff... Ugh. Regardless, there was helpful staff and well-labeled racks, something that, as an avid thrift, vintage, and second-hand shopper, I am appreciative for.
This is one of my secrete (!) and absolutely favourite outlets in Milan. I was quite ambivalent as…read moreto whether I should share, but hey! - since it's you, I'll spill. Il Salvagente is one of the best design outlets, and it's completely within easy transportation reach in Milan. It's two floors of gorgeous Italian and international design, from the big brands such as Moschino, D&G, Max Mara and Celine to smaller local brands. You'll find everything from big gala dresses, amazing shoes, hats, bags, scarfs, shirts, skirts, casual wear, coats and jackets - there is also a decent mens section that Ulrik loves to ransack. Whenever I go to Corso Como, I spent at least 2-3 intense hours going through thousand pieces of clothes - I went a week ago and managed to buy the most beautiful Max Mara winter coat for just 315 euro and gorgeous wedges at a bargain price of 70 euros. Ulrik covered his entire winter sweater demand with just 350 euro! The place is large (not American large) and still, they've managed to squeeze in a lot of clothes and stuff in the space available. And the quality and selection is so good that I've never had the displeasure of walking out empty handed. I just love this place :-)
#316-2016: Bershka…read moreis one of those brands that you either throughly enjoy or don't really get... There is no in between on the matter... Like many reviewers before me, I would categorize it as semi-casual shabby chic sporty young hipster and.. why not just a tad out-of-bed that took me a few hours to coordinate and still look like as raggidy as the next one... That said I have to face the music, I no longer am a teenager (though even my own teenager daughter doesn't seem to fancy this store that much anyways). The location is prime (one of the main shopping strip in Milan downtown), the average costumer is between the age of 12 and 25, both guys and girls are attracted like moth to a dimmed light... That is what bugs me about it... The fact that I can barely see what I am purchasing... I am not asking for UV lights but I would like to know if what I am buying is a certain shade of pink only to find out it is not even yellow (know I mean?) I usually step in, hoping it not be too packed (I get semi-panick attacks lately) and then try and make my way through the racks... The average staff is somewhat looking like they would much rather work elsewhere but they Andre young and they wanna have fun.... though I am sure the paycheck at the end of the month should be reason enough to cracks a smile every now and again... let's just say costumers service is not their best suit.
This branch of Bershka, probably the biggest in town, has been open for about 3 years now. Most of…read morethe times there's people in the entrance taking photos in front of the car at the entrance (kind of like Abercrombie but here there's a car instead of the half-naked model). Anyhow, if you know the brand you know what to expect: cheap clothes, fashionable but oriented to younger customers than Zara or Pull&Bear. Dim lights as in other shops nowadays, I will never get it... How can I buy something if I can't even see its proper color with this darkness?! At least the music here is not terribly loud. I had noticed in previous visits that staff just looks annoyed all the time (imho they're dressed as if they just got out of bed and ran out of clean clothes) but the worst was today: I picked a pair of pants for a friend and went to pay for them, when I gave them to the guy at the register he just tossed them in a plastic bag without folding them or anything, as if it was dirty laundry and not an item I had just purchased (even if things are cheap here, I'm still paying for them!) and at my request of "please can you fold them better since they'll be a gift" I got the usual sigh and annoyed look... Too bad. It started as a 3-stars review, but 1 got lost after I paid.
