Speaking of pork belly they were too chewy we cooked it for long enough and it was still very chewy. Service was trash. The lady that was our server poured all the meat on our fryer so half of the meat was stacked on top of each other so it took longer to cooked. We're already on a 90 minute time crunch. If my step dad wasn't pestering the lady for a next round they wouldn't have checked on us and we would've been waiting for 30 minutes. While we were waiting for the second round the lady told us to turn off our heater when we're not using it, the man later came and turned it back on and told us to keep it at level 400-500. The next time we got the food she tried to put all the meat on the fryer again my step dad said "It's okay we got it, thank you" she looked at us like we didn't know what we were doing. Later on she looked at how we put everything on the fryer she looked and laughed at us TWICE.

Unfortunately, the service experience was disappointing. Throughout our meal, staff did not check in on our table to see how things were going. Our grill and grill parchment paper were not changed, and our banchan dishes were not refilled. No one explained whether banchan refills were available since we did not choose the AYCE option. We also noticed that sesame oil, which is typically offered at most Korean restaurants, was not provided and seemed to be kept behind the counter instead of being offered to our table. One thing that stood out to us was that we were the only Asian customers dining at the time. We observed staff spending a significant amount of time checking in on other tables multiple times, while our table did not receive the same level of attention. The difference in attentiveness felt noticeable, and honestly, it felt intentional. At the end of our visit, no one thanked us or said goodbye, which made the experience feel impersonal, especially since we were there celebrating a birthday. We came in excited to celebrate together as a family. While the food was good, the lack of attentiveness and communication impacted our overall experience. We hope the service can improve so that all guests feel equally welcomed and cared for..

You aren't getting bottom of the barrel keta (translated from native tongue to "dog") fish or "pink" salmon (only 1 tier up), you're getting fresh fish. There was no hint of gross "fishy" smell before or after eating. (To make your salmon last longer, may I suggest enjoying your salmon with rice and veggies, or in a sandwich?) They also sell high quality pork, beef, chicken, and other things in the freezer like sausage, duck, cheese. They also have pretty nicely priced wines for sale, from low $10s and up. Whites, reds, and bubblies. Highly recommend you make the side-tour to this joint for salmon. A fish dressed to impress that will win you praises.

On my most recent visit, I had the Fidel Cashflow, which features some of the most tender, perfectly seasoned pork belly I've had on a sandwich. It's like an Uber Cubano--familiar, comforting, but leveled up with serious execution. Two visits, two excellent sandwiches, which now has me fully convinced that everything on the menu is as good as it looks. I trust them. I would let them choose my sandwich destiny. Service is super friendly. You order at the counter, but you're met with genuine smiles and a helpful, welcoming attitude that makes you feel like you made a very good life choice. Parking isn't the easiest, but you'll figure it out. The space itself is tiny, with just a few tables, so while you can eat there, a lot of people seem to grab it to go--presumably to eat it somewhere quiet and reflect on how good it was. We were pleasantly greeted and escorted to a table. The hostess started to seat us in an area that the tables are placed very close together and next to a table full of adult diners. We had our grandchildren with us and I could see that wouldn't work so I asked to be placed at a booth which wouldn't be so intrusive to other diners and she was able to accommodate us. There is no denying that tables are placed very close together here. Our waiter was very professional and the staff worked as a team. The food here is very good and the servings are large. With that said I gave it a much better review this time. I just can't give it a 5 because of the seating. I would recommend trying it. If you don't mind dining in tight quarters this a great place for good food.

Seemed as if they were trying to do a smash burger but with a preformed patty. I ended up eating the fried egg, onions and bun, and some of the fries. I gave my wife my wallet to pay while I went outside for a moment. A different waitperson came and my wife told them about my burger and that it was disappointing. Their response was that It was my fault for not ordering it dressed because that's what makes the bun/ it juicy? And that if we came back again, they promised it wouldn't be like that. To be honest I don't think we will be back, but perhaps this was just an off day for the grill cook? It's always a bit of a let down spending $40+(including tip) for only half of your order being correct and then to be blamed for the other half. I later noticed that the second waitperson took off one of the drink and the fried egg, which was nice but too late, I think.

His food has gotten better and better over the years to where I can easily say it's the best BBQ I've had in Seattle area. His brisket is tasty. He knows his pork and chicken. It's cooked perfectly and always on point. All his sauces are used to their last drop in this household. My wife loves his smoked tofu. His smoked meat beans are amazing and his potato salad reminds me of home. Generous portions. Meltons BBQ is more than delicious food it's a love letter to smoked meats.
