We did this all remotely (never visited the showroom to look at the piece; just viewed the choices online) and Gordon was an amazing one-man support team, guiding us expertly through the choice of product, the stain we wanted to apply and the best finish (urethane coating) for the job. He even stopped staining the piece when the color we chose was not matching the piece of old furniture we dropped off as a sample and suggested the perfect alternative stain. Gordon was in constant communication during the building, shipping and delivery planning processes. And he and his partner were super friendly and efficient when making the delivery. But the best part: this dresser is ROCK solid. It has a simple but elegant look. Every seam, every drawer bracket, every surface is flawless. The drawers glide open and closed super smoothly, without any wobble or play. They close securely with a tiny extra push. And the smell of that fresh wood...exquisite. A natural freshener.
