Aaa is a private school teaching chinese, japanese, korean and french. Most of the students are…read morejapanese or french though. I'm studying japanese for 5 years there. The location is ideal, near Opera, next to the tiny japanese district. It has a good reputation among foreigners because it is one of the cheapest school. Plus they do quite a lot of adverts and sponsor artists, though no money is involved.
All the teachers are speaking native language, and the course policy implies the exclusive use of the studied language. Good point. Teachers are said to be of various level but mine is perfect for 4 years, and the turnover is low. Japanese is taught following more or less the Minna no Nihongo workbook. Good point too. Throughout the year, AAA sets events according to the calendar, plus regular language exchanges. Very good point because a language has to be learned outside of books too. It's also one of the few schools having late courses at 8pm.
The bad points are seldom: classrooms, material, furnitures and interior are cheap and sometimes dirty. There's some turnover in the administrative staff which is sometimes not very helpful. Free WiFi though.
To sum up: a very good school to learn languages and meet native people. It's not shiny bling-bling but people do their job with dedication. Definitely a good recommandation, specially if you look for a good value-for-price japanese school.
