This place doesn't look like much - it resembles a diner made of corrugated siding sitting in the middle of a huge intersection. But, the interior is surprisingly nice considering the exterior and the food is decent and reasonably priced.
The seating inside consisted of high countertops and accompanying stools, which were actually pretty nice styled, belying the building they're sitting in. Everything was really clean too.
The place wasn't busy, but we went at an odd time, around 3 or 4 in the afternoon.
We ordered the currywurst and medium fries for about 4€, plus 0,4€ for mayo. As the name suggests, the currywurst is served "Berliner" style, with curry powder sprinkled atop the sauce. My wife didn't think it was that great, and while she considers herself a currywurst connoisseur - if there is such a thing - she admits she isn't a fan of the Berliner style. I thought it was pretty good.
Probably more of a 3.5 star establishment, but I'm rounding up. I wouldn't go out of my way to try it, but if I'm in the area, it's an option. read more
