He said we didn't have reservations, and he was correct, but then he proceeds to say we should wait to check into our "correct" B&B after 3pm. He said "most Americans try to pull off trying to check in early." We apologized and started to leave. Before leaving, my husband really had to use the bathroom as we had been on the road for a long time. When he asked the owner if he could us the toilet, he said, "no, I don't have time for that." First rude Irish person we've experienced after being in Ireland for two weeks.

She offered advice on where we might have dinner and find live music. During breakfast, she spent time getting to know my family and I, and even gave recommendations on places in the other cities that we were visiting along the way. The location is about 15 minute walk out of town or about a 5 minute drive. You are in proximity to the town centre with the quiet of being close to a stream and open space. We were there in October, but could tell that the gardens surrounding the B&B are absolutely beautiful. We only stayed for one night in a double/single room. I do wish that there were some lights on when returning to rooms in the evening -- it was hard to see in the dark hallways. Breakfast was delicious and unrushed.
