In mid 2018 I proposed they manage 40% of my IRA and I will manage the other 60% and see how they compare with my management, and they agreed to do so. I did fairly well, but they did it a bit better, so I felt confident with them taking over all of my IRA and two other portfolios in early 2021. The main reason I did that was to manage my investments for Betty, my wife, should I pass away. AND they did fulfill their commitment to reduce their fees from 1.5% to 1% if they grew their customer base, which they have. But not only due their management my investments but they offer many other services to advise their clients regarding life planning, taxes, etc. And to enjoying living while they are entrusted to handle my investments. A FULL service not just investment advice. I strongly encourage others to entrust HD Money as I have.

The one that is in three episodes of Bravo TV as the real estate agent's worst nightmare. You know the one ...I've seen 10 properties and still not found the right one. The one client that still thinks she can low ball offers like it's 2008? The one who has $5 million tastes on a $400k budget? Yep, that's me. And, yet, this real estate team treats me like a long time family friend (don't you love great client service--it's a rare gem). Agents and brothers, Derick and Troy, have been amazingly patient in trying to help us find the right home as they watch us pick apart 70 year homes as if we were judging brand new homes. And, yet, they keep surprising us by listening to what we want, interpreting what properties we might like, and continue to work diligently to find assets to help on our quest. They are responsive, prompt, and insightful on the millions of market questions we've had, too. They make us feel like their only client, give us great layout ideas when we look at homes, and have a Rolodex of contacts to help us inquire on challenges regarding renovations.
