The end of a life, for people or pets, is not an easy time. Like many service businesses, there is a lot that happens 'backstage' for which we are generally in a position to take on faith that things happens as they should. I recently had to put my German Shepherd down... John and the staff were super courteous and respectful and provided cremation services at a fair price. Most notable, when his ashes did not all fit in the box that was part of the package I purchased, they could have easily 'lost' part of him and simply told me that "he's all there" but they did not. They provided a second box at no additional charge and, when I expressed a desire to keep him in 'one place', they kindly helped me procure a box that would do the job. It would have been so easy to get away with a bit of a deception here - But they did not. Further, they graciously allowed inspection of the cremation area - a far cry from another provider who both declined when we asked to see where the process happens and wanted to meet us for a transfer at a third location. So, I highly recommend the staff and services at Benton County Memorial for their caring, conscientious professionalism... Even when no one is looking. read more
