Even though I live out the way from the area now I still go back, it's the only chip shop / takeaway I truly trust. The chap that owns it is a lovely bloke and he has his children working behind the counter serving so it's proper traditional chip shop and the prices are great and the food quality is great, In the 20 years odd I've never had a single complaint which is why I keep going back, all beit occasionally because of my relocating.

Aggressive, uncaring staff and vile food, it would be 0 stars if I could…read more.. After around 2yrs and £00's of custom to this takeaway, late orders (up to 2hrs sometimes) declining quality and standards (making me ill on more than one occasion)...I have finally ordered my last one last week. They got my order wrong (this may have been an issue with the FoodHub app?) ruining a £40 order. I called to explain and was told I could have a replacement, I offered to collect to save delivery and went back out to fetch it. When I arrived they tried to charge me for a replacement, argued about me (not in English) and then told me I had got my own order wrong and refused to replace my item unless I paid. FoodHub were useless in their handling of this matter too (so they are binned too). This place has declined over just a couple of short years, seems to have been handed over to someone who doesn't care about the customers, just turning out greasy, nasty food, hours late and met with hostility and rudeness. People are so short of cash these days and takeaways are becoming a luxury, I recommend you treat yourself to something of quality and give your money to those who care about their customers.
