They say free wifi, if free means that it don't work then sure. Cable? Well if you don't mind black and white or some channels fuzzy like a shirt on a gas station floor. Some of the sights are very cramped. The newer area up at the top is not bad. The trash up there is over flowing at times. The trail is not really a trail more of a poison ivy farm and trash hide and seek. Price is ok. Really some one should invest and build a nice park around the lakes.

Ain't gotta worry about people stealing your stuff or anything of that sort. I'd recommend staying here for sure

Two interior paved roads where all the pull throughs are and the perimeter is back in sites. There is a side area as well that appeared to have long term campers. Good water pressure, stable power pedestal and sewer drain port all within a few feet of each other. There's a gravel bump out are for a picnic table as well. A fair distance between sites that grass, but the interior trees are years away from throwing off shade. If you dont want full sun take a back in site on the perimeter, there are mature treesall around the outer edge that give good shade in either the morning or evening. The park hosts are present and around every day. As well as available by phone. The office is open daily with short hours. 4 Stars a solid RV park with good stable utilities 01284

Not only did Gregg scope out our venue in advance, but on the day of the event came early to ensure set up went well and guests were engaged and could participate! He was very timely in sending us pictures and being a good party planning partner! I would highly recommend working with him and this company again!!

Solomon greeted us on arrival with a friendly smile and wonderful hospitality. We sat in the comfortable mezzanine and listened as he mastered the piano in the lobby. The room was as pictured. Small but comfortable. The tv channels don't all pick up but that didn't matter to us. The mattress was fine. Linens comfortable but the pillows were cheap and squeaky. Being an old building, we could hear people in the hall faintly. (Not unexpected) In the morning, there was yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, boiled eggs, coffee meat and cheese. Morning staff was super friendly and kind. Parking was great around the hotel as well. (We had a truck with a camper attached and had no trouble finding parking) Would stay again for sure!!

This is an expansive and beautiful state park. I've only experienced the shooting ranges and the…read morevisitor center, so that's what I'll be reviewing today - but this park amazing. Value for money: This place is inexpensive (even free in some circumstances) gun / rifle / shotgun ranges. Be aware: you'll need your GA hunting license to shoot here -- you present it to the range officer on duty at either the rifle/pistol lanes or the shotgun/skeet house. Location: This place is a bit out of the way for most folks coming from Atlanta -- it's a good 1 to 2 hour drive, depending on what part of the city you're coming from. If you were planning on getting just a quick 30 minutes of range time in, I'm not sure this place is cost effective. On the plus side, it's also not close to any neighborhoods, etc. -- so you can feel pretty safe discharging a firearm at the ranges here. Customer service: This place has friendly range officers (just let them know it's your first time there) - they're very willing to show you different parts of the facilities. Protips: Bring your own weapons, ammo, cases, and hearing protection. They have a limited supply of targets at the welcome area, but it's best if you bring your own targets (and tape) too. In summer, there is no shade connecting the ranges - the sun will beat down on you. They have restrooms on site, but no vending machines or nearby restaurants - be sure to pack in necessities like food and water. Summary: Even though it's out of the way, and you'll need to bring (and possibly first GET) your GA hunting license, I highly recommend this park. It's worth the drive -- especially in the fall or spring.
