Seravalle outlets is about an hour and a half bus ride or 2 by train and shuttle from Milan. So…read morethe question, shoppers is: do I go or do I find someplace else? The answer lies in what kind of shopper you are. If you come to Milan armed with cash to spend that makes a late 1990's Paris Hilton shopping spree look conservative, then stay in the city. However, if you're conscientious or a mid level bargain luxury shopper this is probably one of the best places to go. You also will love this place if you enjoy meandering amongst shops like Gap, Michael Kors, Nike, Addidas. But the gems of this place are YSL, Versace, Gucci, Moschino, etc.
Sure you may not find a classic piece if you have something very particular in mind, but lots of nice accessories can be found if you're looking to add something surprising to your closet. I personally felt quite happy with my YsL black handbag, Cassedei pumps, and moschino scarf. I'm a person who'd much rather pay full price for something I really like-- so I was very happy with my purchases to get them at a bargain and to really enjoy something unique.
My husband, 6'2" also found many great pieces to add to his wardrobe-- nicely cut button up shirts, coats and jackets that we've never seen in he US markets.
Facilities are very nice and an array of food options are available. Plan to spend a half to full day here including transportation. Remember your passport and pay with a Credit card; plan on getting in line for your tax refund (if you're from outside Italy) about an hour before you leave to ensure you don't miss your bus or train. Ciao Ciao!
