I am writing to give Benjamin a 5-star rating. Found him here on Yelp back in April (after considering a few other lawyers) & wrote him with my tale of woe (FLD DUE CARE FOR EMERG VEH STOPPED OR STANDIN) on Route 17. Basically a ticket trap in Mamakating (whoever heard of Mamakating?) & the potential for points on my 100% perfect driving record (no moving violations ever!). Ben communicated very promptly & always effectively. We exchanged everything via email & he was a model of responsiveness throughout, quickly answering each email. Received my resolution email today, which was to have the moving violation reduced to a parking ticket (no points, etc.), which I will "gladly" pay, having learned a lesson about Route 17 & Mamakating. Since we live in NYC, I especially appreciated not having to make any special trips to Mamakating/Wurtsboro to resolve this. I hired Benjamin to represent my stepson with his speeding ticket after the first attorney I hired became ill and didn't do anything. In matter of fact he did so little that my stepson was facing suspension of his license for failure to appear to answer the ticket. I hired Benjamin at a very fair price. Within hours of hiring him, Benjamin had the suspension lifted. My stepson was facing a very tough situation since he already had an 8 point speeding violation on his record. Our 18 year old daughter received her first speeding ticket in upstate NY about 5 hours away from where we live in NJ.
