The billing department is worthless. I questioned a bill 4 weeks ago. Hadn't heard anything so contacted customer service. Was told it would probably be another 60 days. They didn't respond when I messaged them through their patient-portal. People in Helena complain about St. Peters, but their billing department is way better than Benefis. read more

they can not figure out their billing. if you do get good care they are certain to mess something up and later make you pay the bill twice. My wife had a procedure requiring "contrast" before her MRI it was made clear to them and was in her chart that she was allergic to contrast. The procedure required contrast. So today was the big day!! She was having the procedure and going to be on the mend, so we thought. The horribly inept physician did not bother to even check her chart until after she was in the room and the procedure was canceled since the procedure also required contrast. . Had the "doctor" viewed her chart earlier, measures could have been taken to make it possible to get it done today. If this is not gross incompetence I'm not sure what is. We showed up 20 min early and were scorned for it by the very rude woman on the second floor. After my wife went back for the procedure, I opened my phone and for no more than 15 seconds, music played. Out of the Consult Room (whatever that is) comes the same nasty woman to tell me to turn my music down. It was not blasting, there was nobody else in the waiting room and she had her door propped open. Very Rude Service at this facility on top of their negligence., think twice before starting any relationship with Benefis. read more

I went in to the ER for breathing issues and by the end of the day I was in ICU with tubues in my throat breathing for me. I was intubation for 8 days and eventually was able to breath on my own again. The nursing staff saved my life. True professionals who showed compassion and great work ethics. This place is horrible! They will lie about what is said or was said or wasn't said. Then when you ask for clarification they will give you the quiet treatment and then snake around. If you asking for better communication they will get agressive. The staff is VERY deceitful. Beware. They care more about money than saving lives. read more

MT is incredibly fortunate to have this level of medical knowledge and care. I had a very good experience Dr Maloy and Sidnie his nurse and all the staff that helped me. I had advanced bladder cancer and with there hard work I'm in remission now. My husband went there for surgery and nearLy died. seemed like everything that could go wrong did. He had a massive stroke and they seemed to want him to just die. Never once did they have a neurologist see him. I must say their stroke rehabilitation was very good but excellent care should have been given first so he could have had a successful surgery and could be normal today. Now he can't walk, speak, understand, communicate and is paralyzed on his right side as well as blind. We now go to Logan Health in Kalispell. Just a warning...you represent a dollar sign, not a person at Benefis and if you try to fight their system by going to court they will win as money comes first. not truth. read more

The communication from medical staff and administration is almost nonexistent. Medical staff are not held to high standards - poor performance is tolerated and ignored. The patient who ultimately pays staff and administration is marginalized. read more

My wife recently spent 4 days on the 7th floor of Benefis Health System (Oncology Dept). Let me tell you, the staff on that ward are all phenomenal. She unexpectedly had a seizure. From the time I pushed the nurse call button to the time a nurse showed up was less than 30 seconds. In a matter of about a minute there were about 13 people responding and doing what each had to do (not saying they crammed into the room, saying some in the hallway were "standing by" while several worked with my wife. The same evening she unexpectedly sat bolt upright in bed and pulled her IV out. They were caring for her immediately, put up side rails to protect her, AND had a CNA sit with her all night to redirect her movements if she started thrashing about. The nurse that night insured he had my number in case something were to happen and told me if I wanted to check on her any time throughout the night, feel free to call him. I called at 2am, and he gave me a rundown of how she was doing without hesitation and with respect and concern. Next morning it was like he knew I was on the elevator, I stepped off the elevator and he was right there with information on her status. Everyone was so helpful and compassionate. It's sad that more people with a positive experience don't make it known....but those with some complaint (regardless of how large or small) will post a negative review in short order. read more

My husband was brought in with a medical emergency this past weekend. We were all so worried & scared. The staff was so caring and accommodating. They treated him and us with such kindness. Dr. Singh Is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure his patients and their families are informed. Chelsea on the fourth floor is a rockstar. Her sweet southern charm made us feel right at home. No one ever wants to have a medical emergency but we feel so fortunate that we were brought to this facility. read more

This place has gone downhill. There are so many things wrong with this place, where to even start? I would say about 8 out of 10 staff you encounter have no concept of professionalism. Their billing is atrocious! Get ready to pull your hair out. I got a bill recently where they got every important piece of information wrong except for the type of service provided. Wrong date of service, wrong patient and didn't even submit to insurance. They've only scanned the insurance cards three times this year (they scanned it each time my girls would go for their yearly check ups) and they still can't get it right. These are just the most recent screw ups, there's a ten year mountain of screw ups from these clowns. I can see myself moving to the clinic to avoid this circus. read more

Its been less than two months and again I'm having a great deal of trouble getting refills on two medications that I've been prescribed for several years for Fibromyalgia. They haven't responded to emails or phone calls. They have no concept or understanding what it takes to get a prescription filled at a Military Base Pharmacy and I was basically told they don't have a such Rules and Regulations that are Federal Law. I can't believe Benifis staff is as callous as they are. read more

I was in the ED at Benefis twice in 3 days in mid-May getting admitted on the second visit. I have been in a lot of ED's in my life and have never been as impressed as I was in Benefis's. I had Dr's SIT and talk with me on both occasions-not standing over me and talking at me as has been my experience at other hospitals. I was impressed with everyone in the ED-from the CNA's, nurses, Dr's, X-ray technicians and the many flight medics that it took to start my IV (I have tiny veins). I also had very good experience with the floor nurses as well. They were all professional and as attentive as they could possibly be. I am only in Montana temporarily, but can only hope if I end up in the hospital again it is as good as Benefis. read more

I was brought into a room with only a chair and was unable to sit and had to lie on the filthy floor with an IV in my arm on one visit. Everytime I have been there I have had severely bruised arms from the armature needle operator to draw blood or give an IV. The wait time has always been horribly long in both the waiting room and the repeating room. The last time I was there the ER Physician falsified my records with perjury and committed fraud because he didn't like my views and concerns about the Plandemic and my non vaccination stance from what I can tell. During the Plandemic they were more interested in sticking a COVID-19 test swab up my nose than treating me for possible organ failures, stroke, heart attack, or some other serious problem that clearly wasn't CoVid-19, a flu, or a cold. I was also told that they only did basic testing to make sure I wasn't dieing, but were adamant about testing for something that has a 99% survival rate, and is tested for using a laboratory Amplifier test called a PCR, which the inventor of the test said should never be used to diagnose or treat disease. Dr. Karry Mullis, the inventor of this test was adamant about this, and no one at benefis knew this basic Tennant of this testing. This place is full of careless armatures that take no responsibility for their careless actions. Go to any alternative ER you can find is my advice. read more

For a large company such as Benefis you would think that they would be able to call people back in a timely manner. I mean i have had multiple occurrences where i have called to either make an appointment or to pay a bill and i never receive a call back! Today is day 4 on trying to make a payment! Was set up on hospital billing three years ago for an agreed monthly payment to be made. Payments were made for last three years, on the agreed amount. Now all of a sudden, I get a billing statement demanding payment in full within 30 days, or they will turn it over to collections. I have called their financial department twice and have been told they can not tell me more as to why this is happening. No conversation or attempt to ask me if i can pay more monthly, or any attempt to try to rectify the billing problem. Just a letter on turning it into collections. Good Job, Benefis. That's the way to do business. F- for a grade. I would leave them Zero Stars if that was an option. Sure wish we had another Hospital in this City. read more

Wow! I'm sitting in the waiting room now. I've been here four hours with a family member. People are writhing in pain out here, yet others seem to get right in. It makes no sense! I swear, the guy sitting a few feet from me is going to faint before he gets called back. The Staff out here is also wicked rude to many people. read more

Cutting ties with Benefis. Continued full charges for follow up visits which are supposed to be no charges. Rushed through appointments because they over book, hard to get in when you need to, and better yet, forget that you're out in the waiting room. Can't get any worse service then that. read more
