I spent several weeks with a Bladder bag, long-term pain and inability to do normal everyday life things due to this botched surgery. In 2021 , the bladder repair ruptured! I became extremely I'll very quickly and no one could figure out why at first. By the time someone had figured out what was going on , I was septic and my kidneys had began shutting down . After emergency life saving surgery at another hospital by a truly knowledgeable surgeon , I then spent almost 2 weeks in the hospital meanwhile missing Christmas with my children . Once I was able to go home, I was bedridden with a bladder bag for several weeks and then unable to do daily life activities for over 6 months . To this day , I am still greatly affected and undergoing treatment for the botched surgery performed by Dr. William McIntosh. Please do not use him for your treatment!!!

They should have informed me days or weeks ago so I could have found somewhere else to go to. Now I'm 9 plus weeks pregnant with no prenatal care and have to wait probably another couple weeks for a prenatal appointment elsewhere. On the positive side they will be better than you, so it will be worth the wait. Thanks a lot clarksville OBGYN associates.

The unprofessionalism that was displayed was unlike anything I have ever seen in a medical setting. They have most definitely violated my trust for medical professionals. Also, I have never been to a medical office that gives you a business card to call their lab for test results as they function on a "no news is good news" basis. That should never be practiced in any medical office under any circumstance; it's shameful!

Mostly stress from hospital staff's desired procedures and their need to quicken things. From my first visit with Clarksville Midwifery to my last, it has been a great experience. They listen, take their time with you, provide you with all information, do everything they can to give you the birth you want if it's possible. Fortunately, I had no issues that would prevent a home birth. I started having inconsistent contractions at night when I was 40 weeks 1 day. I called the midwives the next morning and one came out to check on me. I wasn't in active labor yet, but my body was getting close. a few hours later I began to have more regular contractions. My midwife came out again and I was in active labor. Within the next hour my whole birth team was at my house. (I live in Hopkinsville Ky) I had full control of my birth and had the water birth I wanted. My midwife came the next day for our 24 hr check up. It was so great to be home with my family. I've had a fully medicated birth with my first baby and that recovery was awful. I was in the hospital for three days and so tired and in pain with medication. After my home birth, I was less tired and the pain was so much less. My body was allowed to take its time to be ready for birth. I did not have to have any pain medication after my home birth. This wasn't my first pregnancy but it was certainly my most assured, comfortable, and confident one yet. I will, without a doubt, be going to them FIRST for any future children I may be blessed with. I had not met a doctor or a nurse or any other medical provider yet. I did not feel comfortable committing to that financial obligation before meeting the doctor. I had zero information about the birthing location, common practices there, etc etc! The billing rep got flustered when I asked to sign the contract after my second appointment, and told me in a smug tone that I couldn't see the doctor that day unless I signed the financial contract. I got up and left. I feel that this office takes advantage of women in a vulnerable state by making them choose between the wellbeing of their baby and financial resources. That they use COVID as an excuse to silo women so that they are alone when making these commitments. I'm disgusted that the contract mattered more than my initial appointment. I have good insurance and a good job; there was no reason to block medical care outside of being slimy and money-hungry Also, the contract said NOTHING about cancelling the payments if I changed my mind about the provider. The billing rep said plenty of assurances that were not on the document itself. They didn't seem keen on adjusting the contract either I will never come back here. Businesses will keep up with these practices as long as we let them. Expect better and walk away when you feel financially coerced.

At 8am this morning, I received a call to tell me that I can't be seen today with the nurse practitioner, I will need to see my primary first. Why did they make the appointment with the nurse practitioner many months ago if I needed to see my primary first? UPDATE: I was told that the nurse practitioner and the primary doctor aren't on the same "team". So that is an excuse have have me lose a day's pay? Very disappointed and upset (mentally & physically). I will spend my day off finding another medical practice.

Clarksville's grown and they've figured out they can screw over long time patients, because there's enough coming in to replace them. Well my family of four will no longer be using their services. I have great insurance, and I'm not an idiot. Which means I can tell when you're charging me $185 for a flu and covid test you're no longer caregivers, you're predators who take advantage of parents with sick children. It's disgusting and will be made public on every platform I can find.
