Not only that, but I specifically requested that I not have a meet & greet appt, because I am already a patient. Today, after forty-some minutes on the phone (much on hold), I was told even though x-rays were scheduled & an MRI is available, that indeed nothing would be done tomorrow. I'm 81 years old & really don't have time to waste like that. That office has known for 2 weeks what kind of equipment & appt. I need, & after multiple promises to get back to me they did no such thing. I really like Dr. Fortun, but am tired of wasting my time on do-nothing-no-nothing staff.

This was during COVID-19 (if you are reading this in the future) so masks were required before entering. I also had to call the number listed on the door before they would let me in. Summary - Decent size lobby with a TV - Paperwork to fill out was actual paper. Not done digitally (Boo!). - Ladies up front were friendly and helpful - They took my insurance with no issues - Doctor was great - They take plastic - Private parking lot Ramblings from Tim Doctor that seen me was 5 stars. Diagnosed the issue and quickly called a prescription to my pharmacy of choice. The wait to see the doctor was loooooooooong. I was taken back to the room after maybe 10 minutes, but waited around an hour before the doctor came in to the room. I thought they forgot about me. Probably not a long wait for urgent care but I was expecting my Yelp Elite status to give me preferential treatment. Oh well, perhaps they are trip advisor people.

Very efficient and thorough. Maybe a 10 minute wait and out within in the hour. Highly recommendread more

With the expertise of Dr. Liz Henry and Dr. Summer Lamborn, she was back to dancing pain-free in no time. A year or two later, my husband partially tore his rotator cuff, and surgery was recommended by his Dr. After having observed the extremely knowledgeable and friendly environment of Lifeforce, I made my husband an appointment. After a few weeks of sessions, and a home exercise plan specifically tailor-made for him, he is and has been completely pain-free with full use of his arm and shoulder ever since!!! Over the last few years, I have been helped by both Summer and Liz for a number of issues, ranging from tendonitis of both feet, and now I see Liz for chronic back pain and headaches resulting from scoliosis and arthritis. I don't think I could get through the week without Liz! She always asks for feedback from the previous session, so she can tweak my treatment plan. She also teaches me about my conditions so I can better help myself. Lifeforce also has a number of medical exercise classes that one can supplement physical therapy, for a reasonable cost, led by a Dr. of physical therapy, who also gives me tailor-made exercises for my conditions. I have been to two other physical therapy offices in Wilmington, and in one of them, I felt like I was part of an assembly line, left alone, waiting my turn to see the assistant. The other, I was passed off from the physical therapist to the assistant.At Lifeforce, it is ONE patient, ONE Dr. of physical therapy! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!!!!

My first clue that this was not going to be the generic PT I'd experienced was getting a call from Dave the day of the referral and I had my first appointment set up within a week. Dave and Chuck are a team that I quickly learned were there to help me move forward and find solutions to the pain and limitations I was experiencing. Their hands on approach made me feel like they had a sixth sense of just where my body needed help. I was used to coming to PT and being put on a machine while the therapist walked away. Not going to happen at Sea Coast. Someone was always standing beside me watching, correcting, or encouraging me. And the physical manipulation was always targeted to the exact spot that needed relief. I can not thank them enough and I encourage others to take advantage of their knowledge and skills.
