Good to help uncover and identify issues…read more They do a great job of identifying potential issues but for the cost you are left with a multi page report where there is no real clarity of what the specific issue identified IS doing. For instance, "Door seal appears worn, cound be leaking." Is it leaking or not and how much. Light a match, watch for drafts not just thermal images or visuals. Also, thermal hot spots do not mean air leakage. Hard to get them to clearly identify. Just be ready to interpret the report to determine what needs to get done. They gave me a great 15 page document with pictures showing issues but then recommended having someone else come.

These high levels, quickly dissolve into our pores when we shower, wash our hands, cook... We also have TDS (total dissolved solids) in our drinking water. While some of this is good minerals, unfortunately, here in Florida we have a lot more bad in our water. While filters in refrigerators help remove some taste, it cannot make our water 100% safe to drink and definitely doesn't compare with reverse osmosis. Before working with Todd, I had 3 water tests done on my water at my house and did hours of my own research. I concluded that Todd at, Captain Solutions Water Treatment & Wellness, was the best for the job. He was kind, very knowledgeable about water in general, knowledgeable about his filtration system and how reverse osmosis works, honest and the price was very reasonable (compared to the others). The customer service simply was not there with Captain Filtration, Todd, who gave a much different impression when it came to doing the quote, and charged higher than most companies. I saw a targeted advertisement on my words with friends game this morning, and normally, I wouldn't even contact anything that is directly advertised to me. But, as I told Jenni, I felt like it was meant to be, for me to call them. I had a very good experience with her and felt that she was knowledgeable and caring. They are coming out tomorrow for inspection and air sampling, and Tuesday and I will update my review at that time. ******** Update: the specialist, John, came in and made us feel very comfortable about the process. All my interactions with this business, from the time I called Jenni, to my interactions today, were so positive, which is not something I get from all companies I deal with on a regular basis. I felt empowered to make good decisions about what needs to happen next with our home. Samples were sent to the lab. The good news is, he didn't see or smell any mold. It was $295 for the hygrometer and lab testing visit. They also offer free demos but we decided to go directly to the appointment. I was able to choose from a variety of immediate appointments, and he arrived, on time, the very next day after I spoke to the owners. I was very impressed with that. I would highly recommend this company. I can tell they have integrity and I felt confident to hire a reputable local (Tampa Bay) business. There was no upswell, no sale tactics. Anyone that knows me, knows that I write simple, honest reviews and am not swayed by people, big or small companies and I'm just a regular retired housewife who doesn't have a business to represent or a horse in the race, as the saying goes. So when you read my reviews you get my honest initial impressions and further assessments. Thank you for reading. Will update as things unfold and we get lab reports back.
