We found IRMA, and purchased a large apple pastry to share for breakfast. The man at the counter (I think the owner) was kind and patient, providing guidance in very good English. It was so good, we went back and bought 3 types of bread rolls to have with our dinner. LOCATION: After entering the Hala Targowa market main entrance, the bakery is located on the right-hand wall, about 1/3rd of the way down the length of the building. It is the only bakery in the market (that we saw).

Communication was limited I cannot speak Polish and their English was limited. After a few…read moreweeks of eating salads for breakfast at the hotels (standard breakfast foods in Central Europe tend to be very different from what one would normally associate with breakfast), we were craving a hearty, carb loaded breakfast. Cafe Central is so so so good. They have tons of bagel sandwiches listed on the board, as well as, pancakes, oatmeal, and much more. They also carry non-dairy milk too!! I always wanted to branch out and try a new bagel but I ended up ordering the same one every time- onion bagel with hummus, tomatoes, and pickles. Seems like an odd combo but it was DELICIOUS!! (I do believe it was vegan; however, I did not confirm that the bagel did not contain eggs or dairy) Despite the fact that it was a bagel, I never felt gross or bloated after eating. I would 10/10 recommend. Tips: they have wifi! If you look on the wall above the bench seating at the front windows there is a little note that states the password. The menu when you first walk in is in polish but have no fear! If you walk around to the left side of the counter and look up, the menu is in English.
