The studio is located in a quaint little house and has a couple of nice rooms for taking photos. From the very beginning, Samantha was very professional and on top of things. She emailed frequently to confirm our reservation and make sure we were ready for the photoshoot. When we arrived to take photos, we gave her some thoughts on what kind of styles we like and she took it from their. She went from set to set taking dozens of pictures of baby. She had tons of outfits and bows to choose from, and had great ideas on what kinds of photos to take. It was really nice not having to worry about choosing the scenes like we did with our first child. Samantha made the whole process as stress free as possible and was really patient with our baby and with us! There was a whole upstairs as well for our other child to play in with tons of toys. Samantha spent at least a couple of hours taking photos of our baby and went above and beyond to get some great shots. I am pretty picky when it comes to photos but when I saw the final edits, I was really impressed and opted to buy the whole gallery. There wasn't a single photo I didn't like. She captured every little detail, and framed each image perfectly. The other thing that is great about Sugarfoot is that the pricing isn't quite as steep as some of the other photographers around which makes for a great value to get photos done here. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and would do it again in a heart beat!

Darlene, however, is an absolutely wonderful woman and her photos of me turned out amazing. She knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, which the other photographers I met with were not able to do. Here's why you should believe me even though I of course think she's THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER because she is my friend as well as these reasons: 1) I am a music website & print magazine Editor, so I work with some of the best photographers in the world. I know good work. 2) I was a professional model a long time ago, so I've been "shot" by some of the best photographers in the world and am very picky about my personal pictures. 3) Darleen took some promo pics of me last year of which I received more compliments on than any other photographs ever taken of me. She made this "turning 39 again this year" girl look and feel awesome! 4) I am friend's on Facebook with many famous photographers who have NO motivation whatsoever to go out of their way to "like" or positively comment on Darleen's work (which they do - regularly). 5) I have recommended her to so many friends, businesses, etc. that have all used her and loved her. Her pictures manage to encapsulate an individual's personality in a very unique way - whether human or pet! I think she should charge twice the amount that she does for how extraordinary her work is, but she is a very honest, down to earth person who runs a small business and understands the economy.
