We were worried that there would be damage to our lawn, patio stones, etc. Justin's team of Andrew and Nick arrived on time, found the breaks, and replaced the broken pipe. There was a lot of digging as they had to go 8 feet down. They were exceptionally careful with the landscape. no damage at all. I contacted New Line Plumbing for a leaking issue in Toronto. The person on the phone quoted 220+…read moretax first visit fee (including 1 hour fixing time) seemed reasonable, so I agreed. The plumper arrived, spent approximately 15 min on site, took some photos, did no repair (even temporary fix), and left. Then he later sent a quote, claiming he did a temporary repair, and needed $1900 to replace a strainer - far above any reasonable market rate. When I declined the quote and questioned about the initial visit, I was told that the internal log showed TWO hours of work and I needed to cover them. Their own records are inconsistent and cannot support the charges. The conversation was difficult as they had no intention to address your concerns but just wanted you to go away. They finally agreed to get back to me but never did, and I paid the bill under pressure to avoid an automatic charge to my card. At this point it is not about the bill. This company seemed to have inflated hours, grossly overpriced quotes, unresponsive customer service, and the lack of actual service provided during visits - I would not recommend.

I went from 25LPM to 18LPM after they changed the water pipes. They installed the new sewer drain inside the house in the middle of the room without my consent or knowledge. They cemented it after telling them not to do so. They did this because the storm drain was in the way however, they should have asked. Then they didn't re locate the meter as requested. I asked them to repair the work and they refused, then they were slandering me on my home job site and suing me for unprofessional inadequate work they did.
