Belushi's is located right next to the Holiday Inn Express my fiance and I were staying at while visiting Paris. They are also located on the ground floor of the hostel in the same building. They offer really stereotypical "American food" that's almost comical because of how much they play into american stereotypes. The service is alright and they are English speaker friendly. The atmosphere is very much like a college bar and at least half of the patrons appeared to be guests staying at the hostel. Food: The food was fine. Nothing really exciting and very Americanized. They offer really stereotypical american mashups that are almost like satire on American food and eating habits. In my opinion, the weird combinations were almost gross because of how many items they piled on to a single burger. Service: Service was fine. They do speak english and have an english menu. You can order at the bar and they'll bring your food to the table. It wasn't particularly fast and they aren't super friendly, but it was fine. Atmosphere: Personally, I'm not a fan just because of the amount of drunk idiots yelling and hostel guests that could clearly use a good shower. On a recent Sunday afternoon stroll along the Bassin de la Vilette in search of a place to relax and a bite to eat, a friend and I stumbled across this restaurant on the first floor of an anglo-themed hostel (yes, a hostel, not a hotel..) Though the sun-drenched terrace overlooking the water was tempting, we opted for a spacious booth inside next to the pool table where I could park my baby-stroller. Despite Berengere's warning that the burger was average, we each ordered one. No sooner than the first bite did we seriously regret it. The meat was mealy, dense and overcooked, which was too bad since it was seasoned nicely with sauteed shallots and whole-grain mustard. Despite the culinary limitations of our meal, we thoroughly enjoyed the mix-and-match setting and clientele -- a garbled blend of unpretentious locals, hostel guests, Sunday sightseers, large screen TVs, diner booths and pool tables. I wouldn't make a pilgrimage out there, but if you happen to be wandering nearby Belushi's is a fine place for a quick beer and some interesting people watching -- just stay clear of the burger! read more

I was staying at the St Christopher Canal hostel(where this Bar/Resturant is) I went there at 10:40(20min before the kitchen closed) I ordered and waited till 11:30. I went to check what happened, the guy said: "we have a problem with the computer. Your order didn't go through, and the kitchen is closed now. What we can do here is, we can give you your money back. Sorry bout that" Oh THANKS A LOT! that's why I give you my money an hour ago. So you can give it back to me an hour later! If you know your computer has a problem maybe you should double check with the kitchen?! I had to wait an hour for nothing. Then I had to go out late at night in a rainy night to look for food, just because you messed up. The LEAST you could've done, is say sorry like you mean it! (I have to say I've eating there for a few days. Other staff were good. It's just that guy was being terrible and weird towards me) read more

Sports bar? That's a bit of a stretch, but I guess it's the closest thing you'll find of one in Paris. The food was decent, but over priced for what it is, in my opinion. You could still get a better tasing burger at a local Burger King. This wouldn't be my first option to pick in this area if I had to choose again. read more
