I came in yesterday on February 19 to purchase a speed queen washer and dryer gentlemen helped us out. I think we were in and out in less than 15 minutes with the purchase and they delivered same day which was amazing and we're at my house in about 30 minutes for delivery by far the most amazing appliance purchase I've had in my life. The two man installation crew were quick professional, and managed to get everything put in my narrow hallway without scratching anything. I will be returning here for any of my future appliance needs. Highly recommend the team there. read more

The Bells Appliance Repair company was assigned by my Asurion Appliance+ warranty plan. They scheduled a service technician come out to repair my Samsung Ice maker. It's 6 years old and the icemaker stopped producing ice. The Tech's name is Tom. He was on time. He was courteous, professional and went right to work. He took the icemaker apart and found the problem. He said he would try to do a temporary fix, which he did. The icemaker actually worked for a couple of days before shutting down again. He further informed me that he had to order the parts to complete the fix properly. Once the parts came in (2-3 days) he returned to complete the repair. He cleaned up after himself and asked if we had any concerns. He left his business card with us in case we needed to call for any recurring concerns. I would definitely request "Tom" from Bell's for any appliance service. read more

I would like to start with the positives Bout bells appliance repair. I called and set up a tech appointment to help with our washer. They were able to come out within days of the call. They first gave us a 6 hr window. The day of shrunk the window. The tech Cameron was nice, polite, and talked throughly till I had my questions answered. Thankfully, my husband did a lot of the trouble shooting so the tech could tell right away what the issue was. He informed me of the part I'd need. The negative is that the tech show up fee is $99. Most of the other companies that I called were around the 80 fee. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience just was definitely more pricy for a fee. read more

Our washing machine needed a new valve. The repairman came on a Monday afternoon, 1:45 minutes AFTER the repair time window was given. Then he told my husband the part was in stock in the store, but the couldn't replace it until the following Tuesday. Seriously? 8 days to repair when there are multiple repairmen AND the part didn't need to be ordered?! Do not recommend! read more

We have 2 houses with the extended warranty program with Bell's. So far we have had to call twice and both experiences were professional and we were very satisfied. The first was a compressor going out in a fridge in home 1 and the second was the ice maker not working in home 2. For home 1, they were able to help us utilize the warranty for a no cost fix and for home 2 they only charged the trip charge and fixed it within 24 hours. We just closed on a 3rd home and plan to be using Bell's for our appliance needs. read more

Could not be more pleased with the Company's systems, service and ultimately the technician sent to our home. Phillip arrived exactly as planned, communicated well and was professional in all ways one could imagine. We contracted with them through our home warranty program (2-10) and have frankly been amazed at the quality of service providers they have sent to assist us. Bell's Appliance are absolutely an example of that and from request to service, was approximately 27 hours. After other contractors told us that our mid-90's oven was beyond repair, we randomly contacted Bell's. Their repair team was outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. I planned my day AROUND YOUR scheduled window time. I even called twice within that time frame just to make sure someone was coming. Guess what??? No answer to both my calls! Repair technician came out and didn't Repair washing machine Drain hose properly. When I asked for a refund, I was told that the technician had to come out again and have the opportunity to correct his work. 2 Repair days were scheduled. On the second day in June he never showed up. I again asked for a refund and was denied. A lady in the office told me that they called me on the day and I told her that they didn't and my telephone log proved it. They still denied me. read more

They installed an oven unit in my house in Emerald Isle and the work should win an award for World's Worst Oven Install. It would be laughable if I wasn't so horrified and frustrated. How they left my house, thinking I would be happy with this, I have no idea. Clearly they don't care. The photos show you the two sides of the oven that are lower than the others (the other two sides are almost flush with the countertop) - if you are not the home owner you should get a chuckle. I didn't. I have placed a call for them to return and resolve - let's see if they do. read more

These folks do a great job! Able to give an appointment in a reasonable amount of time and very polite staff . We have used them twice and now have a three year service contract which covers the cost of them coming out without additional charge. The first issue was with a dryer and was quickly repaired. The second with a refrigerator with no charge for the first visit ( simple solution offered) and direction to call back if that did not solve issue. It is hard to find someone to repair appliances reasonably....so far we are very pleased! read more

We bought a new GE Monogram dishwasher for our new home that was finished in May of 2017. This dishwasher is a high-end appliance and the door would simple drop when opened. I contacted GE and they immediately recognized the problem as a defective spring/cable problem in the door and sent parts and arranged for Bells Appliance to preform the simple repair. The repair technician showed to perform the repair I cautioned him to ensure he did not damage the floor when pulling out the dishwasher as it would be very costly and near impossible to match the color. The technician took 5 minutes and determined he could not remove the dishwasher even-though his supervisor gave him suggestions he choose to leave instead of trying to work through the problem. As a result I took a day off from work then made arrangements for him to come back out when the counter tops were schedule for replacement due to a defect with the granite counter tops. A waste of a day due to lack of effort, experience and ability to take advisement from his supervisor. I arrange for the technician to come back out when the counter tops would be off the I called Bells Appliance called they told me the tech would be out w/i a 4hour window between 12-4PM. They did not send email notification as a previous review stated I had to call Bells appliance. The technician called to let me know he was on the way and asked if the dishwasher would be removed? I told him it was not removed but the counter installer and I looked at the dishwasher with the counter top off and nothing was holding it in except 4 screws per the manufactures installation specifications. The technician stated the dishwasher must be removed or he would not come. I told him that it would not be removed but there is nothing unusual holding and should be able to remove by using a silicon transfer mat. The conversation got a little tense but respectful which ended up by the me asking for the supervisor's phone number and the technician stating he was on vacation. I told him that I needed the repair completed as I am only at my house on weekends and took a Friday off for the repair. As I was speaking the technician insited talking over me then hung-up. Unprofessional and unacceptable. A better option would have been to come to the house and survey the dishwasher use a silicon mat which I'm not sure they have? Again he choose the path of least resistance my dishwasher still isn't fixed and he enjoyed another short Friday, AWSOME! The management at Bells Appliance was not committal stating they could understand both my position and the techs position was offered to send the same tech out. Not interested in having him come back out under the conditions and asked for different tech which was not possible due to limited resources. So be careful to ensure you do not get unprofessional, inexperienced and unmotivated service techs, may be just a waste of time! read more

They can do the job just be prepared to wait three weeks for it to get done. They set you up an appointment for a week later. Then need to order a part which takes three days later then quoted. Then they call and put you at the BACK OF THE LINE!! It's been 2 weeks without a dryer and now it will be another week before they can come and finish the job. Very poor customer service. read more

Do not ever use this company, they will price gouge you!! I will never use this company. They were contacted by Home Depot and LG because the install if my new washer and dryer were installed wrong and to check the dryer ventilation because I was getting errors. Bell's appliance came out 4 days later to look at the appliances and make the necessary repairs or so I thought . I was told up front that they could repair the ventilation and or clean it out for an extra charge, I said that would be fine I understand that. When the service tech came he repaired the leaking washer by telling me the drain hose was not pushed into the drain far enough that's why it was leaking. Also readjusted the washer so it wasn't sitting to high in the front. He then checked the dryer vent seeing there was no air flow blowing on the outside and by shining a light into it and told me it was clogged no air flow. Looked under the house and said he saw no damage to the line. I asked him so you will be fixing that. He said no it won't be today I have 2 other calls to go to. WHAT?REALLY!! He didn't even have the equipment on his truck to clean or repair the dryer vents. What happened to fixing my issue from the initial call. He told me it was going to be $159.00 to "start to fix" ventilation and it wasn't going to be until next Wednesday which was going to be a week later. I said why so much, you are charging as if it an emergency call but yet you are waiting a week to schedule me again. He said yes it is an emergancy you can't dry your clothes. So then why wait a week? Then all of a sudden he contacted someone about this and said he was waiting for another tech to bring the equipment now. I will say he tried to get the help for me however he then said it is now going to cost me $179.00 to clean the dryer vent. So the price all of a sudden went up another $20.00? PRICE GOUGING!! I called several other companies about pricing and dryer vent cleaning was a service call price from $75.00 to $100.00 . You people should not be treating your local town folks like this. You will not be in business very long. read more

One star is too many; run the other way! After 2 1/2 months and 6 appointments, they still could not complete the repairs. I went to the store to talk to the owner to get a reasonable solution to finish the repairs. His best solution was to make a 7th appointment. I told him that was not acceptable, and he recommended I find another contractor that could provide better customer service. When I reported the problem to the BBB, he blamed the entire problem on me and 'big business'. He said I was hostile for coming into his store and said that it was unfortunate that small business pay the price for the poor customer service of big business. I supposed bringing the wrong parts on the second visit (missed diagnosis on visit 1), and bringing the wrong parts again on visit 5, only to realize you didn't need a part to fix the stove, then rewiring it backwards was the fault of the home warranty company? Do you also realize how crazy it sounds to be upset that a customer, to whom you still owed service and had yet to fulfill it, came to your business? It's a business! People/customers go to businesses all the time. It should have never gotten to 6, 8, or 10 weeks. After 4 weeks the owner or the service manager should have come out to fix it themselves; they certainly should have called me at any point in the 10 weeks and explained the shortfalls and problems they were facing. They never completed the service, and their customer service failed long before the 6th and 7th appointment. The owner assumed his office manager and service manager were doing all the right things. The owner chose instead to only look at the information his employees offered him and did not dig deeper. Get out of your office and engage with your customers and figure out what your employees are doing with your business on your behalf. You can learn from failure, but you have to accept/admit it first. read more

Hang up the Phone. Do not call these people for appliance repair. You will wait weeks for parts and chance of the part being the correct one are slim. Once they get the part it will be at least another week. The customer service awful. Do not bother calling them and if you are calling because a home warranty tell the home warranty people you do not want them and want someone else. I don't know how they stay in business. I contacted Bell's to have them come out and give me a 'tech report' on my stove and refrigerator following Hurricane Florence, to provide to my insurance company. They were able to schedule to appointment quickly, and explained the costs and options. The next day my insurance company let me know they did not need the report on the stove, so I let Bell's know I only needed the service on the refrigerator. The day of the service, the tech contacted me to let me know he was on the way, and along the way Jerrica updated me by email. The tech, CJ, was so courteous and professional. I received the report immediately and electronically so I was able to forward it to my insurance company. I will be using Bell's in the future and I highly recommend their services. read more
