The restaurant is decorated as a traditional German restaurant. We were promptly seated and were given a menu in English and German with big pictures of the food. I ordered a bone-in Iberico pork chop with plum sauce, potato gratin and ratatouille. The pork was perfectly cooked and the potato gratin was delicious. However, the plum sauce had a strange aftertaste, and the ratatouille was average, and was not served fully hot. The service was rather brisk and curt, giving a feeling that they were rushing us to order. There was a desert menu but it was not offered, which reinforced the sense that they wanted us out in and out, fast. This restaurant seems to be geared to the American military clientele from the nearby base, not an elevated, authentic German restaurant for but more like a Spiesinder (dîner) with elevated prices.
